Welcome to another batch of NHL DFS Picks with our Playbook! We have a nice nine-game slate to focus on.

NHL DFS Picks & Daily Fantasy Playbook Today, April 3rd
Before we get into our NHL DFS picks today, let’s make some pick’em picks for the night over on Sleeper.
There are lots of ways we try to fill your wallet over here at Fantasy Alarm and this is just another option.
NHL Pick 'Em Picks On Sleeper Fantasy Today
- Dylan Holloway O/0.5 P
- Lane Hutson O/0.5 A
- Kirill Marchenko O/0.5 G
Dylan Holloway has 15 points in the last ten games and is a big reason why the St. Louis Blues don’t lose hockey games anymore. He has a fantastic matchup on paper and a very good chance of finding the scoresheet. This is a no-brainer.
Some people continue to doubt Lane Hutson, which is wild because he is a LOCK to win Rookie of the Year. He has 57 assists on the season and is not slowing down. The kid knows how to move the puck and find whoever is open. The Bruins are bad, and Hutson is elite, so this is a perfect storm for him to add another assist to his total.
The Columbus Blue Jackets have a very good matchup against the Colorado Avalanche, who are playing the tail end of a back-to-back and their third game in four nights. Kirill Marchenko has scored goals in his last five games and is in a prime spot. Colorado’s goaltending isn’t elite, so Kirill has good odds to find the back of the net.
Thursday Salary Cap NHL DFS Picks
Goalie Of The Day: Dustin Wolf - CGY
We know that Dustin Wolf is good at stopping pucks, but his team provides him with no goal support. Tonight, Calgary has a date with Anaheim, a team that is ranked last in most offensive categories on the road. We get a slight discount because the Flames are below-average at scoring goals, but if they can just give Wolf some support, he has a great chance of hitting value.
Honorable Mention: Andrei Vasilevskiy - TBL
Andrei Vasilevskiy is elite, but his numbers on the road are very poor. So why play him tonight? Well for starters, the Ottawa Senators are the team he is facing, and they will be without Brady Tkachuk. We also get him at $7600 on DraftKings, which is quite the discount. Vasilevskiy has allowed just two goals in his last three starts, so there’s enough upside to put some trust in him.
Player Of The Day: Zach Werenski - CBJ
We know the drill with Zach Werenski; when he is at home, we have to consider him. He’s now up to 51 points on home ice and is averaging close to 20 fantasy points on DK. His floor is always super high, so he’s a great option in all formats. If you want to go with just one Columbus skater, make it Werenski.
Honorable Mention: Nick Suzuki - MTL
Some of you don’t think Nick Suzuki is elite, so I’m here to remind you that he is a top-10 center in the NHL and I won’t accept ANYONE disrespecting him. Suzuki scored two goals last game and is now up to 79 points on the season. Despite all this success, DK has him priced at $5800 against the last-place team in the Atlantic Division, the Boston Bruins. Plug him into your lineup and move on.
Value Play Of The Day: Zack Bolduc - STL
If you want to get some cheap exposure to St. Louis, Zack Bolduc is an option. His shot volume during this winning streak has been good and he’s even blocking some shots. His ice time is still under 15 minutes per game, but his matchup against Tristan Jarry and the Penguins is above-average. I’ll take my chances with him as a single-bullet in a GPP.
Honorable Mention: Vasily Podkolzin - EDM
If you’re trying to get some cheap exposure to Edmonton’s top line, Vasily Podkolzin is the way to go. He isn’t seeing any power play time, so that does hurt his value, but he’s playing with Leon Draisaitl so that evens everything out. He’s still a risky option because he doesn’t shoot the puck, but if he can find the scoresheet, we’ll take it and run.
Stack Of The Day - DAL PP1 (Jason Robertson - Wyatt Johnston - Mikko Rantanen)
The Nashville Predators are a really bad hockey team. They got wrecked in Columbus a few nights ago and now they have to deal with Dallas, one of the best offences in the league. We’re going with the top power play unit because those three players can score goals and rack up shots. I expect multiple points from them before the night is over.
