Welcome back for another NHL Playbook! We have a massive 10-game slate with some high-scoring teams. There is no shortage of value on this slate, so we could be able to pay up for a superstar or two.

As always, goalies are going to be key. We can always go with the most expensive options, but there are some good options in the mid-tier range that are worth exploring. Let’s dive into the action and see which players we need to focus on.

NHL DFS Picks & Daily Fantasy Playbook Today, November 20th

Before we get into DFS, let’s make some pick’em picks for the night over on Sleeper. There are lots of ways we try to fill your wallet over here at Fantasy Alarm and this is just another option.

NHL DFS Pick'em Picks On Sleeper Fantasy

The Vegas Golden Knights aren’t an elite hockey team on the road, but the Ottawa Senators love to give up scoring chances. Jack Eichel loves to shoot the puck, and I think he has a good chance of hitting the over.

The Sharks are playing on back-to-back nights so there may be some fatigue that settles in. Jake Walman is healthy and back to firing the puck. He is their most offensive defenseman, so I expect him to really generate chances from the blue line.

Igor Shesterkin has better numbers on the road so I’m willing to take a chance on him here. The Rangers are a solid defensive team, and the Flames don’t have a ton of depth up front. This one is going to make us sweat, but I like our chances.

NHL DFS Lineup Picks Today, 11/21

Goalie Of The Day: Yaroslav Askarov - SJS

Listen, there are goalies that I like more than Yaroslav Askarov tonight, but we can’t ignore his value and his matchup. He is playing the tail end of a back-to-back, but it’s against St. Louis; a team ranked LAST in shots on goal per game at home.

Askarov has been good in the AHL, and we know how high his potential is. This is a great spot for him even if the shot volume ends up being on the lower end.

Play Of The Day: Kirill Kaprizov - MIN

It’s so hard to ignore Kirill Kaprizov when he is in action on the road. He has 23 points on the road this season, that’s 66% of his total points.

The Oilers may have the two best players in the world on their team, but they can’t defend, and their goaltending is #NotGood. Kirill is going to get his chances, and he will find the back of the net.

Value Play Of The Day: Pavel Zacha - BOS

Pour one out for Jim Montgomery, who was fired yesterday as head coach of the Boston Bruins. Was it his fault? Absolutely not, but someone had to pay the price, and the organization decided it was him.

With a new bench boss, you have to believe this team is going to have a fire lit under them for this game. Pavel Zacha is skating on the top line and top power play unit and is very affordable on DraftKings. He’s worth a roster spot in a GPP as a single-bullet if you’re trying to get creative.

Stack Of The Day - SJS PP1 (Mikael Granlund - William Eklund - Jake Walman)

I mean, why not? The Blues aren’t an outstanding hockey team, but the Sharks are going to be playing from behind at some point tonight.

Eklund and Granlund have been very good this season and Walman is a shooting machine. All three together are reasonably priced and could be a nice secondary stack in a GPP.
