NHL Best Bets and Betting Picks: November 15th
What a way to kick off the betting week last night as the Ducks hit at big plus money and the under in Vegas/Washington was a lock from the get go! Sadly its a much smaller slate tonight with just 4 games but as you know I look at the lines and odds every single day and there is always a few options that stick out. For today the bets will be a Puck Line wager and an under on a game total. Best of luck everyone and see y'all back here for a better and bigger night for tomorrow in the NHL!

NHL Best Bets for November 15
Anaheim Ducks at Colorado Avalanche
Let me just say we love the Ducks for what they did last night and making us some money but betting hockey is a day to day endeavor and tonight we have to fade them. Playing back to back night against the cream of the west coast crop is not a recipe for success and the Avalanche should roll tonight. Colorado is 4-2 at home this season after dropping 2 games in their last homestand so they will be looking to pick it up tonight with their home split of a 55.62 Corsi For %. That mark is the 5th best in the NHL and important because they will out shoot and out possess the Ducks who are going with a backup goaltender. The Ducks however are 11-4 against the spread this season so it could get tricky but the Money Line is too chalky so we need to bank on the Puck Line to carry the day for Colorado.
Pick: Colorado Avalanche Puck Line -1.5 (-125 on BetMGM)
New York Islanders at Vancouver Canucks
This game may not end up being the most exciting on the slate but there's definitely an angle to exploit. The Canucks are making headlines from the offense that is scoring 4.4 goals but the defense has been just as impressive allowing just 2.2 goals per game the 4th fewest in the NHL. This has been driven by the play of Thatcher Demko who has 2 shutouts and a 1.95 GAA through 10 starts this season. Add those numbers to the fact the Islanders just can't score at 2.36 goals per game you have a recipe for an under wager. Islanders defense is stout as always too with Ilya Sorokin playing in net so let's lean towards that under and hope the Canucks don't run wild.
Pick: Islanders & Canucks Under 6.5 Goals (-120 on PointsBet)
