We’re still awaiting the results of Monday Night Football for Week 6, but we’ve come out on the other side with some massive NFL injury news with the likes of Chris Olave, Jayden Reed, Travis Etienne, and Marvin Harrison all dealing with something.

NFL Injury Report For Week 7: Fantasy Football Injuries

The NFL Injury Report for Week 7 has a lot of big-time names coming off bye weeks as well, so we could be getting some elite fantasy football players back in time for our playoff runs. Let’s dive into the latest fantasy football injuries!

NFL Week 7 Injury Report: Quarterbacks

Anthony Richardson Injury Update - Oblique

After being seemingly on track to make his return in Week 6, the Colts played it safe and started Joe Flacco and Richardson was inactive. Head coach Shane Steichen spoke with the media and was quoted as saying “Unless there’s a setback, I think he’ll be ready to go” about Week 7.

Tua Tagovailoa Injury Update - Concussion

Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel spoke with the media on Monday and said he expects Tua Tagovailoa to return at some point in 2024. He’s not being activated in Week 7 following the Dolphins bye week, but the team expects he’ll be playing again this year after suffering his third recorded concussion in Week 2 against the Bills.

Derek Carr Injury Update - Oblique

On the Saints estimated practice report sent out on Monday, Derek Carr was listed as a DNP which isn’t surprising. There isn’t any expectation of Carr returning on a short week with the Saints playing on Thursday.

NFL Week 7 Injury Report: Running Backs

De'Von Achane Injury Update - Concussion

After exiting early in Week 5, De’Von Achane was seen at practice in a non-contact red jersey on Monday, which is a good sign that things are progressing within concussion protocol. We’ll see if he can return by the time Week 7 rolls around.

Nick Chubb Injury Update - Knee

Per Mary Kay Cabot of Cleveland.com, Nick Chubb is officially expected to make his return to the field in Week 7 against the Bengals.

Travis Etienne Injury Update - Hamstring

Heading into their Week 6 game against the Bears in London, Travis Etienne was dealing with a shoulder injury and left London with a hamstring injury that head coach Doug Pederson has deemed a week-to-week thing. This NFL Week 7 Injury Report is good news for Tank Bigsby and D’Ernest Johnson fantasy owners.

Jonathan Brooks Injury Update - Knee

The Panthers have opened the practice window for rookie running back Jonathan Brooks according to head coach Dave Canales. Brooks, a second-round draft pick, has 21 days to be activated or he’ll be shut down for the season. He’ll likely slot in behind Chuba Hubbard for the time being, but Brooks’ upside is highly attractive for fantasy football managers later in the year.

Jerome Ford Injury Update - Hamstring

After leaving the Browns’ Week 6 loss early with a hamstring injury, head coach Kevin Stefanski spoke with the media and said Ford is considered week to week at this point. He’s a fantasy football casualty with the injury and with the fact that Nick Chubb is set to make his return.

Tyjae Spears Injury Update - Hamstring

After leaving the game early in Week 6, head coach Brian Callahan told the media on Monday that Tyjae Spears' injury is a week-to-week thing. Expect him to miss at least one week and we’ll see from there.

NFL Week 7 Injury Report: Wide Receivers

Cooper Kupp Injury Update - Ankle

Head coach Sean McVay spoke with the media on Monday and said despite Cooper Kupp not practicing with the team on Monday, he’ll be going through an extensive workout with a trainer to determine the rest of his week and if he has a chance of playing in Week 7. It’s something we’ll monitor throughout the week.

Puka Nacua Injury Update - Knee

Puka Nacua will not practice this week according to Sean McVay, so we’ll have to wait until Week 8 at the earliest for Nacua to return to action.

Chris Olave Injury Update - Concussion

The Saints, who play Thursday, put out their estimated injury report and have Chris Olave listed as a DNP with a concussion. According to Pat Daugherty of NBC Sports, this is the fourth documented concussion Chris Olave has had as a football player.

Marvin Harrison Injury Update - Concussion

Marvin Harrison suffered a concussion in Week 6 and will have to go through the concussion protocol before getting back on the field. After taking the hit that gave him the concussion, he stood up and fell back down, so the league and Cardinals will need to be careful with this injury.

Jayden Reed Injury Update - Ankle

Although Jayden Reed returned to action in Week 6, he left with an ankle injury during the game and it’s something we’re going to have to monitor moving forward.

Dontayvion Wicks Injury Update - Shoulder

After initial reports this morning suggested Dontayvion Wicks is week to week, head coach Matt LaFleur’s tone was very different. He said he does not think Wicks will miss anytime but they’ll see how he progresses throughout the week.

Rashid Shaheed Injury Update - Knee

The Saints listed Rashid Shaheed as a DNP on Monday’s estimated practice report and that’s something notable. It’s notable because he didn’t leave the game in Week 6 for anything and after Chris Olave left the game, he saw seven targets come his way and also had a punt return for a touchdown.

Ricky Pearsall Injury Update - Chest

The San Francisco 49ers have opened Ricky Pearsall’s practice window after he was shot in the chest right before the season began. Insane comeback story for Pearsall who will likely make an impact for this 49ers offense early and often.

NFL Week 7 Injury Report: Tight Ends

Dallas Goedert Injury Update - Hamstring

Dallas Goedert was ruled out very fast after his hamstring injury in Week 6 and head coach Nick Sirianni still doesn’t have any new information on how bad it is. They’re still trying to collect data on how bad it is.

Taysom Hill Injury Update - Ribs

This suggests there is progress for Taysom Hill and his fractured ribs because, on the Saints' estimated injury report for Week 7, Hill was a limited participant. He has a chance at making it back on the field for Thursday night.

Hayden Hurst Injury Update - Groin

Hayden Hurst left the Chargers’ Week 6 contest with a groin injury and was quickly ruled out for the remainder of the game afterward. Hurst’s status for Week 7 is in question although he does have one extra day to heal this week considering the Chargers play on Monday Night Football in Week 7.
