We head into Monday Night Football with multiple significant fantasy football injuries from Week 1.

Some of these injuries are minor, but there are elite names such as Josh Allen, Jordan Love and Puka Nacua dealing with ailments that we’re going to have to monitor in the NFL injury report for Week 2 and moving forward.

NFL Injury Report For Week 2: Fantasy Football Injuries

Let's dive into the fantasy football injuries highlighted in the NFL injury report for Week 2.

We'll examine which important players are facing injuries, how these challenges could influence their performance, and what changes you might need to consider for your fantasy lineup.

NFL Week 2 Injury Report: Quarterbacks

Josh Allen Injury Update - Hand

We weren’t aware of any sort of hand injury coming out of Sunday’s victory in which Allen totaled four touchdowns, but head coach Sean McDermott said there’s an injury there that’s been looked at, he’s been cleared of, and he’ll play on Thursday.

Lamar Jackson Injury Update - TBD

We have no idea what to make of Lamar Jackson’s absence from Monday’s practice, so we’ll leave it at a TBD until Wednesday. Why Wednesday, you ask? Head coach John Harbaugh told reporters that’s when the injury report comes out. This is one of the biggest fantasy football injuries we’re going to need to track throughout the week.

Jordan Love Injury Update - Knee

On Monday, NFL insider Adam Schefter appeared on the Pat McAfee show and said he believes Jordan Love will miss 3-to-4 games due to a sprained MCL. After watching the play that Love was rolled up on, this is the best-case scenario.

Kenneth Walker Injury Update - Abdomen

At the end of the Seahawks’ Week 1 victory against the Broncos, Kenneth Walker was not on the field due to an abdomen injury. After the game, Walker was asked about it and he said, “I’m good.” It’s definitely a situation to monitor throughout the week, though.

NFL Week 2 Injury Report: Wide Receivers

Puka Nacua Injury Update - Knee

The lack of news surrounding Puka Nacua’s knee injury during the offseason was always strange. In the first half of the first game, Nacua re-aggravated the same knee. According to Adam Schefter, tests are still being done, and at this time, he’s considered week-to-week.

*UPDATE: The Rams have placed Nacua on injured reserve with a sprained right PCL.

Jordan Addison Injury Update - Ankle

It was definitely concerning to see Addison ruled out of their Week 1 game with an ankle injury after he’d been dealing with the same injury all preseason. Head coach Kevin O’Connell spoke with the media on Monday suggesting it’s significant soreness. Still, he hopes he’ll be available to play in Week 2, which implies it’s not a serious injury.

Rome Odunze Injury Update - Knee

At some point during the Bears' Week 1 win against the Titans, Rome Odunze injured his knee and head coach Matt Eberflus said he’s getting an MRI on it, and we’ll know more when Wednesday’s injury report comes out. Listen to Eberflus here:

NFL Week 2 Injury Report: Tight Ends

David Njoku Injury Update - Ankle

Per Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network, David Njoku has suffered a high-ankle sprain and that is an injury that typically has a 4-to-6-week recovery timeline. It’s unlikely we’ll be plugging Njoku into our lineups until at least Week 5. Damn fantasy football injuries!

Jake Ferguson Injury Update - Knee

Jake Ferguson has been diagnosed with a sprained MCL and a bone bruise but still has a chance to play in the Cowboys home opener in Week 2. Head coach Mike McCarthy told reporters he’s going to work with the return to practice group on Wednesday.
