NFL Injury Report 2024 - Fantasy Football Week 10: Dak Prescott & More
With the NFL trade deadline looming, there were injuries to certain players on certain teams that made the deadline a bit easier to be sellers and some teams to become buyers with guys coming back.
NFL Injury Report For Week 10: Fantasy Football Injuries
The NFL Injury Report for Week 10 sees the likes of Dak Prescott, CeeDee Lamb, Caleb Williams, and Chris Olave go down with injuries, some more severe than others.
Let’s dive into the first look at this week's fantasy football injury report for Week 10 before we get more notes as practices kick off on Wednesday.
NFL Week 10 Injury Report: Quarterbacks
Dak Prescott Injury Update - Hamstring
The comments from Dak Prescott himself were not good as he said he felt a pop and it’s something he never felt before. The Cowboys have already ruled him out for Week 11 and an IR stint is not out of the realm of possibilities either. Once they get more information on the severity of the injury they’ll have a more concrete timeline.
Caleb Williams Injury Update - Ankle
It’s been kind of a mystery as to what the exact injury to Caleb Williams’ leg was but local Bears radio, 670TheScore, suggested it was an ankle injury. There was no reason as to why Williams was still in the game at the time of the injury, but now we await what the severity is from the Bears.
NFL Week 10 Injury Report: Running Backs
Christian McCaffrey Injury Update - Achilles
Guess who’s back at practice? Christian McCaffrey. He’s yet to play this season and all signs have been pointing to a Week 10 return. He’s been officially designated to return from IR and should be ready to rock against the Bucs.
Zack Moss Injury Update - Neck
This is a brutal blow to the Cincinnati backfield as head coach Zac Taylor said Zack Moss is out indefinitely with a neck injury. An IR stint is likely to follow, and Chase Brown is going to be a bellcow for this team.
Keaton Mitchell Injury Update - Knee
We may see the debut of Keaton Mitchell in Week 10 as he was a full participant in Monday’s estimated practice and head coach John Harbaugh when asked about Mitchell’s status this week said, “There’s a chance.”
NFL Week 10 Injury Report: Wide Receivers
CeeDee Lamb Injury Update - Shoulder
Per Adam Schefter of ESPN, the Cowboys' star receiver has a sprained AC joint, which is in his shoulder. He’s potentially going to be available this upcoming week as it’s said to have been a dodged bullet.
Nico Collins Injury Update - Hamstring
Nico Collins is eligible to return from injured reserve in Week 10 and when Demeco Ryans, head coach of the Texans was asked about him, he said “We’ll continue to evaluate Nico throughout the week and see where he is.” We’ll see how the week progresses and get a better idea come Wednesday.
A.J. Brown Injury Update - Knee
Things were looking very bleak when Brown’s initial knee injury went down, but the Eagles have received great news and there are no structural issues to his knee after going for an MRI. The news was so good that there’s potential for Brown to even play this week.
Chris Olave Injury Update - Concussion
This past Sunday, Chris Olave suffered his fourth documented concussion since reaching the NFL, which is terrifying for his health. The team needs to take their time with Olave before returning. With four documents, it makes you wonder if they’ll take the Tua Tagovialoa approach before he returns to the floor.
DK Metcalf Injury Update - Knee
The Seahawks have a Week 10 bye week, and the media spoke with head coach Mike Macdonald on Monday and Macdonald, although he wouldn’t fully commit to Metcalf being back in Week 11, said they’re confident he will be. There are also rumors about Metcalf being traded, so that’s something we’re dealing with as well.
Drake London Injury Update - Hip
Another injury situation across the league that appeared worse than it’s deemed. Head coach Raheem Morris said that Drake London has a hip pointer and is simply day-to-day, so nothing to worry about at all.
Tee Higgins Injury Update - Quad
With a Thursday Night Football divisional matchup against the Ravens looming, Tee Higgins’ status is completely up in the air. On Monday’s estimated practice report, Higgins was listed as a DNP. Head coach Zac Taylor said he’s going to work with trainers throughout the week to get him in a position to play.
Keon Coleman Injury Update - Wrist
Nothing is confirming the severity of Keon Coleman’s wrist injury, but we know as it’s been reported, but he was sent for imaging, and we’ll probably have a better idea of what’s going on on Tuesday when results come back.
NFL Week 10 Injury Report: Tight Ends
Isaiah Likely Injury Update - Hamstring
If the Ravens had practiced on Monday, Isaiah Likely would not have participated. He suffered a hamstring injury late in Week 9 and head coach John Harbaugh said it’s something he’s dealing with, and we’ll have to see how he responds throughout the week.
