Best NFL Week 7 Player Prop Picks

We’ve got division rivalries, in-state clashes and even a Super Bowl rematch featured this Sunday, so there is no shortage of great matchups to target with our NFL Week 7 player prop picks.

Even in the AM game in London, we have the league’s worst passing defense in the Jacksonville Jaguars, but they’re facing an anemic offense in the New England Patriots with rookie QB Drake Maye at the helm.

All that to say that the NFL Week 7 player props markets can be difficult to navigate. Between trends and players’ history against specific teams, we’ve found two NFL Week 7 player prop picks that we love.

Lions vs. Vikings Player Props: Jared Goff Over 249.5 Passing Yards (-115 at DraftKings Sportsbook)

Of the aforementioned divisional rivalries, perhaps none is more notable than the Lions vs. Vikings games. It’s arguably the game of the week with Detroit coming off a monster 47-9 win over the Dallas Cowboys to improve to 4-1, while the Minnesota Vikings are coming off their bye as the lone undefeated team in the NFC at 5-0.

This matchup could very well be the deciding factor in terms of the NFC North winner come season’s end, and we see Lions QB Jared Goff having a career day. This line is on the high side for sure, but we still don’t think it’s high enough.

Minnesota may be undefeated but they’re allowing the third-most passing yards per game. Of course, we know that is because teams have had to throw to catch up, but Detroit may find themselves in that spot. They’re underdogs on the road, and with the massive loss of pass rusher Aiden Hutchinson, this may turn into a shootout.

Furthermore, Goff has torched the Vikes in his entire career. As for recent games, in his last five meetings with Minnesota, Goff has thrown for fewer than 277 yards just once (257). In two of the past three games, he’s thrown for 320+ yards! Therefore, we’re confident starting our NFL Week 7 player prop picks with Jared Goff over 249.5 passing yards (-115 at DraftKings Sportsbook).

Panthers vs. Commanders Player Prop Bets: Jayden Daniels Anytime TD Scorer (-125 at DraftKings Sportsbook)

We’ve got a bit of a theme to our NFL Week 7 player prop picks in terms of targeting QBs. This time, it’s the rookie sensation out of LSU, who is coming off a close loss to the Baltimore Ravens.

Even still, Daniels isn’t just in the running for Offensive Player of the Year - he’s a legit MVP candidate. Although his four-game winning streak was just snapped, he’s a serious dual threat facing a terrible Carolina Panthers team at 1-5. Speaking of being a dual threat, we see Daniels finding the endzone on the ground this Sunday.

Not only is Carolina allowing the third-most rushing yards per game, but they have been terrible in the red zone. Their 12 rushing touchdowns allowed are the most in the NFL, and besides the Dallas Cowboys, no other team has allowed more than eight such touchdowns.

Daniels started his rookie campaign with two rushing touchdowns and has done it again twice more but hasn’t found the end zone in back-to-back games. Well, given that the Ravens have the absolute best rushing defense and the 31st-ranked passing defense, it’s no surprise that wasn’t the Commanders’ game plan.

That should change with this week’s matchup, so we also have Jayden Daniels as an anytime TD scorer (-125 at DraftKings Sportsbook) as part of our NFL Week 7 player props.
