Happy Friday everyone, it is December 8th and the NBA regular season gets back moving after a fun In-Season Tournament Semi-Final. For the NBA DFS Showdown tonight, we have the Los Angeles Clippers taking on the Utah Jazz. The Jazz have been banged up and will be without Lauri Markkanen once again. But we have the Clippers at full strength tonight with Paul George, Kawhi Leonard, and James Harden.

Paul George, Los Angeles Clippers

It is a very tough choice on who to go with at the captain spot tonight. With Lauri Markkanen out, I feel the big three in LA give us the best option to succeed tonight. Starting with Paul George with him being the highest priced of the night. He has back-to-back games of over 40 fantasy points as his shot has started to fall the past two games after going through a slump. George is a solid option every night, with the highest usage rate on this Clippers roster. He also is playing a ton of minutes as he has gone over 36 minutes in five straight games. We just worry about blowout potential in this game with the Clippers tonight.

Kawhi Leonard, Los Angeles Clippers

Leonard is $600 less than Paul George on this slate and I think he possesses the highest ceiling on the slate. Leonard has gotten up 16 shots in five straight games and has gone over 50 fantasy points in two of those games as well. Its not just his offense either, it's been his work on the glass as he has grabbed seven rebounds in four of those past games. Leonard is my top play of the night at the captain position.

James Harden, Los Angeles Clippers

It has been a roller coaster ride with James Harden since coming over to the Clippers. However, he has been very good over the past four games scoring over 43 fantasy in three of those four games. Over those four games, Harden has gone over a 17% usage rate and three games over 20. In the three previous games, Harden didn't see over a 17% percent usage rate. He is becoming more involved in the Clippers offense, and for DFS purposes let's hope that stays. You can make a solid argument in going him at captain to gain some leverage on the field.

NBA DFS Showdown UTIL Top Plays

Keyonte George, Utah Jazz

The rookie Keyonte George has been running the show for the Jazz offense as of late with Jordan Clarkson and Lauri Markannen being out. He is priced under $7K on DraftKings and I am pretty confident in him hitting his value tonight. A lot of it hinges on if his shot falls each night. But it does scare me off a bit if Clarkson plays as he is now listed as probable. In the 17 games with Clarkson, he has an 18.7% usage rate. Without Clarkson that skyrockets up to over 28%. I like him either way, but his production takes a hit with Clarkson.

John Collins, Utah Jazz

It hasn't been all great from John Collins as of late. With him priced at 7K, he has only hit 5x value three times over his past three games. However, earlier in the season when these two teams Collins was able to use his size to crash the glass. He posted a 13-point 12-rebound double-double even while struggling from the field going 4-11 and 1-5 from downtown. I would assume Collins will be lower-owned with his recent play, so I like the leverage I am getting there and he has a 40+ point ceiling.

Ivica Zubac, Los Angles Clippers

Ivica Zubac is auto-locked into my lineup just because he is so consistent. He has scored over 25 fantasy points in six straight games. He just has a solid floor each night scoring double-digit game points in eight straight games, while also grabbing at least eight rebounds in six of the eight games. His price is just $6K on DraftKings and he is pretty much locked into 25 fantasy points each game.

Simone Fontecchio, Utah Jazz

Lauri Markkanen is out once again tonight even though he fully practiced yesterday. Simone Fontecchio has been in the starting lineup as of late and has played at least 24 minutes in six straight games. Since entering the starting lineup, he has not been shy either getting up seven three-point attempts in five of those six games. His price is solid sitting at just $5,800 and we should continue to take advantage of it as long as he is in the starting lineup. Kelly Olynyk is coming back from injury so watch to make sure he does not start.

NBA DFS Top Value Plays

Ochai Agbaji, Utah Jazz

Ochai Agbagi has also been in the starting as of late without Jordan Clarkson. He has been very boom-or-bust scoring 25 fantasy points in just two of his past five games and failed to score higher than 15 points in the other three games. It's not his offense that can carry him on any night, it is his defense. He has six steals in his last three games four of them coming in one game. Even if Clarkson comes back tonight I expect Agbaji to still play 22-25 minutes. Plus, if it's a blowout, he could see an extended run.

Norman Powell, Los Angeles Clippers

All of the Sudden Powell has played over 30 minutes in back-to-back games off of the bench. He has gotten up 12 shot attempts in each game and is the go-to scorer alongside Russell Westbrook. That could continue tonight so I think he should be plugged into your lineup. However, if his minutes tick down again we have seen his floor just fallout, so there is some volatility there.

Daniel Theis, Los Angeles Clippers

Daniel Theis has gone for 24 and 28 fantasy points in his past two games while playing over 20 minutes in each. He is priced under $4K on this slate because he is another guy who can give you under 10 fantasy points as well. If the game happens to be a blowout he can benefit from garbage time as well. If you want to load up on the Clippers start tonight Theis will most likely need to be in your lineup.
