We have five games across the NBA but we’re focusing on just one on Monday, November 11th, as the Los Angeles Clippers and the Oklahoma City Thunder are the focused Showdown matchup of the day. This matchup is interesting because the Oklahoma City Thunder are at a massive disadvantage in the front court with Chet Holmgren out with a fractured hip. Let’s dive into today’s NBA DFS Playbook for the showdown and single game matchup between the Clippers and Thunder.

Clippers vs. Thunder NBA DFS Showdown Picks: MVP & Captain

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander - $18,000 DK, $15,500 FD

It’s hard to go away from Shai Gilgeous-Alexander or Jalen Williams in the captain’s chair tonight with Chet Holmgren sidelined. SGA, with Holmgren out, is averaging 1.5 DKP/min and a team-high 39.9% USG rate. He’ll be really popular at captain.

Jalen Williams - $14,700 DK, $13,500 FD

JDub and Jalen Williams could be a way to possibly afford multiple spend-ups and still use decent value options. Without Chet Holmgren, Williams sits at a 28.6% USG while averaging just a smidge under 1.3 FP/min. We might see Williams playing some small-ball center, too.

James Harden - $17,700 DK, $15,000 FD

Harden has been an elite fantasy producer despite being a subpar shooter, posting a 38% FG thus far. He’s so good peripherally that when the shot is falling, he’s going to absolutely nuke a slate and be a must at captain if you’re going to get a takedown.

Ivica Zubac - $15,300 DK, $13,000 FD

A sneaky captain tonight is Ivica Zubac because the size discrepancy is going to be apparent from the jump. Zubac should smash the glass, it’s just going to come down Zubac himself being able to compete with smaller Thunder players defensively.

UTIL NBA DFS Showdown Plays for Monday

Norman Powell - $8,800 DK, $12,000 FD

Norman Powell has been able to get buckets against everyone this year, but this could possibly be his toughest test yet. He’s averaging well over 25 PPG this year with a 27.4% USG this season. He’s scored 20+ points in every game since opening night and a 30 FP baseline in eight of 10. He’s a safe UTIL option.

Kevin Porter - $5,600 DK, $8,500 FD

GPP extraordinaire. He has an incredibly high ceiling and an extremely low floor. He can go off and he can go ghost. Showdown is the best place for KPJ.

Luguentz Dort - $4,600 DK, $10,000 FD

Seeing Lu Dort at 1.12 DKP/min without Chet Holmgren this year is insane. He’s never been a great FP/min producer, but the need for him while some crucial pieces are out has never been higher.

Clippers vs. Thunder NBA DFS Picks: Dart Throws

Aaron Wiggins - $4,400 DK, $10,500 FD

Wiggins started on Sunday and didn’t play too much in the second half, but we’ve seen some starts stretch out to high-20’s minutes and he’s even put up 30 DKP in a game as well.

Isaiah Joe - $3,600 DK, $9,500 FD

Joe continues to simply play 20-plus minutes and basically pay off with 20-plus FP every single night. There’s room for even more depending on how much small-ball they play without Chet Holmgren available.

Cason Wallace - $3,800 DK, $8,000 FD

Cason Wallace probably has the lowest ceiling amongst all of the Thunder’s secondary plays but his minutes ceiling is superior to all of them.

Ousmane Dieng - $1,600 DK, $6,5000 FD

We likely see Ousmane Dieng operate in the same space he’s been operating in considering he only played 10 minutes in a game Chet Holmgren got hurt in. He’s very good per minute, but how many minutes are we expecting?

Kenrich Williams - $1,000 DK, $6,000 FD

Williams has been removed from the injury report and is set to make his season debut at the stone-cold minimum salary. Will he start at center? That part remains to be seen, but given how depleted they are in the front court it’s possible. Considering he’s returning from a knee injury suggests he will be limited. He missed all of the preseason.
