NBA DFS Picks, Projections, Lineups, Injuries & More Today: Friday Playbook

Happy Friday, December 6th! We have a seven-game NBA DFS main slate on DraftKings and FanDuel and it's a fun one as we head into the weekend. We're still unsure if some big names such as Stephen Curry, LeBron James, and Victor Wembanyama will play, but if they don't there are slate-breaking implications.

We have four teams on the second leg of a back-to-back and just one on the front end, which is why we see all the Boston bigs listed as questionable. Let's get into the news, notes, top plays, and more of the main slate!

Before actually diving into the meat and potatoes, welcome to the NBA DFS season. If this is your first time reading our column on NBA DFS picks, I just want to welcome you and give you a few tips and tricks on what you should be looking for each night.

• News outlets: reliable sources that give us injury news & starting lineups
• Pace of play: who's playing fast vs. who's playing slow. Which teams get a pace-up spot (more possessions) vs. pace-down (fewer possessions)

Pre-Lock Update

This section will be used for anything that changes from the morning until right up to roster lock. 

Injury updates, players we’re higher on than we were in the morning and so much more.

2:00 pm ET

• Jayson Tatum & Al Horford are IN. Kristaps Porzingis is OUT. Boston plays a back-to-back set. 

2:50 pm ET

• Victor Wembanyama is doubtful & Devin Vassell is OUT. Chris Paul, Jeremy Sochan, Keldon Johnson & Julian Champagnie all see 3% USG bumps or better. 
• Zach Collins gets a 2.6% USG bump.
• Jeremy Sochan 1.26 FP/min, Chris Paul 1.17 FP/min, Zach Collins 1.12 FP/min, Stephon Castle .85 FP/min
• Adding Domantas Sabonis to core plays for GPPs. Spurs will have interior issue without Wemby.

6:20 pm ET

• Jonathan Isaac is OUT. Moritz Wagner becomes a more intriguing value option despite being C only on DK. Tristan Da Silva will get extended in terms of minutes, too. Not a lot of interest there.
• VICTOR WEMBANYAMA IS NOW A GAME-TIME DECISION. THAT'S A MASSIVE NEWS UPDATE WE'LL NEED BEFORE LOCK.

7:08 pm ET

• Victor Wembanyama ruled OUT. Back to the same data up top.
• MASSIVE downgrade to D'Angelo Russell as he's been removed from the starting lineup and Gabe Vincent is starting in his place.

9:30 pm ET

• Jonathan Kuminga is starting ahead of Draymond Green. Green is active. Kuminga is interesting in GPPs.
• Lauri Markkanen has been ruled OUT. Svi Mykhailiuk is starting in his place. Not in on Svi. Walker Kessler, Keyonte George, and John Collins are excellent plays.
• Scoot Henderson is OUT.
