We have a six-game NBA main slate on this beautiful Saturday in March. DeMar DeRozan and the Chicago Bulls take on the Kyle Kuzma-led Washington Wizards. Then, Tyrese Haliburton and the Indiana Pacers take on Mikal Bridges and the Brooklyn Nets. Finally, headlining the slate on ABC is the Golden State Warriors taking on Anthony Davis, LeBron James, and the Los Angeles Lakers.

Notable NBA Game Totals Today, 3/16

Top-Price NBA DFS Core Plays

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, PG, Oklahoma City Thunder

SGA is the highest-priced player on the slate tonight as he and the Thunder take on the Memphis Grizzlies. SGA is coming off four of his last five games of scoring at least 30 game points. To go along with that he has scored over 50DKP in those four games as well. The matchup isn't great against Memphis who are playing at a snail's pace at the moment. However, SGA still needs to be in play tonight because he can break any slate.

Anthony Davis, C, Los Angeles Lakers

AD is probable heading into this one against the Warriors. With the Warriors having a somewhat small frontcourt, I look for Davis to take full advantage of that. In the last matchup against GSW Anthony Davis posted a 27-point 15-rebound double-double. He also added three blocks on the defensive side as well. Stephen Curry is questionable heading into this as he deals with an ankle injury. If he plays, this game should stay very competitive. If he does not, i question how much firepower GSW has tonight, and AD could be in line for a big night.

LeBron James, SF/PF, Los Angeles Lakers

If you want to pay down a little further for a Laker, let's go with LeBron James. LeBron doesnt have quite the ceiling of AD has but can still get it done at a high rate. The only way James will bust is if this game becomes a blowout and he doesnt play enough minutes. He has scored at least 50 DKP in eight of his last nine games. In the last time he played GSW James did happen to go off that night finishing with 83 DKP in late January. LeBron is back in play here tonight.

Tyrese Haliburton, PG, Indiana Pacers

Tyrese Haliburton doesnt have quite the ceiling he had at one point this season. The acquisition of Pascal Siakam has really slowed his numbers down. Another thing is that he just isn't knocking down his shots like he was at the clip earlier in the season. Over the last ten days, Haliburton is shooting just 25% from behind the arc on 35 attempts. If he starts to get that shot to fall tonight against a bad Brooklyn defense, lookout, he could be in line for a big night.

Mid-Price NBA DFS Core Plays

Tyrese Maxey, PG, Philadelphia 76ers

Tyrese Maxey is back after a short stint on the injured list with a concussion. In his first game back it looked like he didn't skip a beat. He finished that game against the Milwaukee Bucks with a 30-4-4 line finishing with 42.5 DKP. That matchup was much better than this one with Philly playing against Charlotte in this one. The plus side is with both of these playing badly it could just turn into a slugfest leading to Maxey taking over. It isn't the sexiest name on this list, but he could give you similar numbers to Haliburton tonight for much cheaper.

DeMar DeRozan, SF/PF, Chicago Bulls

Coby White is questionable heading into this one with a hip injury. If he doesnt suit up in this one, that puts most of the ball-handling duties with DeMar DeRozan. He has no problem being the guy, and he has a great matchup against the Wizards who play awful defense while playing at the fastest pace in the NBA. I look for DeRozan to have a big night, putting the rest of this Bulls roster on his back and leading them to victory after a day of rest.

Deandre Ayton, C, Portland Trail Blazers

I did not expect to have the urge to want to play Deandre Ayton much this season. However, his play as of late has me wanting to do just that.  He is priced at just 8K on DraftKings but has scored 5x over that in six of his last seven games. It is a mystery each night who will suit up for Portland, but at this point, I am not sure it matters outside of Jerami Grant who is doubtful heading into this one. Play Ayton tonight as we have seen him recently put up big numbers even in tough matchups.

Cam Thomas, SG, Brooklyn Nets

Cam Thomas is back from injury and chucking up a ton of shots because that's what he does. He has taken at least 19 shots in back-to-back games and could eclipse that mark in this one. The Pacers play at the second-fastest pace in the NBA which will create more shot attempts for Cam Thomas in this one. If he knocks down his perimeter shots tonight, Thomas could put up huge numbers on the road tonight.

Jordan Poole, PG/SG, Washington Wizards

If you are going to play DeMar DeRozan tonight I think you will want to run it back with one of the Wizards and your best bet might be Jordan Poole. Even with Poole coming off the bench now, he comes in hunting for his shot. He has gotten up at least 17 shot attempts in three of his past five games. The Bulls defense can get lost in switching at times, meaning Poole could be free with some open looks in this one. I like Poole at his price of just $6,200 in this one and is in play in a game that should be competitive.

Vasilije Micic, PG, Charlotte Hornets

Tre Mann came back for the Hornets in the last game, and it didn't affect Micic's numbers much at all. He still played over 30 minutes scoring 21 points and dishing out three assists. That was his second straight game of scoring over 20 points and fifth straight of over 20+ DKP. The matchup isn't great in this one in a low game total against the 76ers, but I still have confidence in Micic to get his points still.

Value-Tier NBA DFS Core Plays

Corey Kispert, PF, Washington Wizards

We know we are playing with fire when putting Corey Kispert in your lineups. However, when he hits, he can win you a tournament. He has been inserted into the starting lineup and has played at least 27 minutes in four straight games. In those 27 minutes, he has gotten up at least five three-point attempts in each game. With them taking on the Bulls tonight it's a pace-down spot for him so he may be less-rostered tonight. I will play him tonight against what should be a short-handed Bulls team.

Paul Reed, PF/C, Philadelphia 76ers

No matter the matchup Paul Reed has produced as of late. Even in the game against the Knicks that ended in a 79-73 loss Reed was still able to score over 30DKP. In this matchup against an undersized Charlotte team that plays Grant Williams a lot at center, I look for Paul Reed to have a solid game once again. He seems underpriced in this one sitting at just $5,300 on DraftKings, and will be in my lineup tonight.

Jake LaRavia, SF, Memphis Grizzlies

The Memphis rotation has been a disaster as of late with the revolving door of players being available. We know for one thing and that is LaRavia is going to play over 20 minutes as he has in his last six games played. He is coming off his worst performance playing 30 minutes but went just 2-13 from the field as he just couldn't get a shot to fall. I look for him to bounce back tonight against OKC in what could be a blowout. Even if it is a blowout, LaRavia should still get plenty of run tonight.

Grant Williams, C, Charlotte Hornets

I mentioned above that the Hornets have been playing Grant Williams more at the center position recently and he is taking full advantage of it. He has scored over 30 DKP in his last three games scoring at least 18 game points in each. We cannot count on him to score that many points each night, but as long as he keeps rebounding that gives him a safer floor. He has grabbed at least six rebounds in back-to-back games and should continue that in this one against the 76ers.
