Nuggets vs Suns Prediction: Nikola Jokic Over 51.5 P+R+A (-115 BOOSTED to +116 on Draftkings) 


Can it be a great NBA day without the best player of this decade participating? Absolutely not. That is why the Denver Nuggets are on the road against the Phoenix Suns. This is their second consecutive match against each other, and this is almost a new age rivalry.

The Suns were embarrassed in their most recent match, and it could be more of the same today. The reigning MVP is back to dismantle and destroy the front court of the Phoenix Suns. The Suns do not have the defensive forwards to help against Nikola Jokic, and when they do he finds the open player.

Nikola Jokic finished with 41 points, rebounds, and assists two days ago, but didn’t produce many points in the first half. That is partially why Jusuf Nurkic had four fouls before the third quarter. Look for the Nuggets to exploit a bad mismatch, and lean on Jokic without Jamal Murray.

One of the career marks Towns is set to make has been influenced by the effort Thibodeau demands. That is his rebounding. Towns is currently averaging 13.9 rebounds per game, over 1.5 more than his current best. That has caused his rebounding line to be set really high. 

He has gone over those marks in seven of his last nine games played, but most recently “only” has ten. The Spurs are playing with great height and Victor Wembanyama and Jeremey Sochan could create problems for Towns. Not to mention his own teammates Josh Hart and OG Anunoby who will want to shine under the national spotlight.

As great a rebounder as Karl-Anthony Towns is, put a uint on his under against a better than average rebounding team.
