MLB DFS Value Plays June 10: Top DraftKings and FanDuel Picks

We have 11 games starting at 1:05 pm ET on the Draftkings main slate and seven games starting at 4:05 pm ET on FanDuel for their main slate, but FanDuel is running an all-day slate, so pulling plays and pricing from them was easy. In order to get some of the top guys like Fernando Tatis Jr., Bryce Harper, and Bobby Witt Jr., we needed to dig a little deeper into the depths of the daily fantasy baseball slate and find some solid value options. Be sure to check out all of our tools including the MLB Lineups page, MLB DFS Projections – powered by FanJections – MLB DFS Ownership, and all of the rest of our tools HERE! Let’s dive into our favorite daily fantasy baseball value plays of the day.
MLB DFS Value Pitchers
Andrew Abbott, Cincinnati Reds (DraftKings - $6,500)
When you think about the Cardinals' offense, this is a tough spot for Abbott and the Reds, but they haven’t been all that good against left-handed pitching this year. They have in the power department, but they’re 17th in OPS and wOBA this season. Abbott looked really sharp in his debut, spanning six scoreless innings while allowing just one hit and striking out six. The Cardinals strike out just over 22% of the time and this could be another solid strikeout outing for Abbott here.
Ryne Nelson, Arizona Diamondbacks (DraftKings - $5,400, FanDuel - $6,300)
I understand Nelson’s been subpar to bad this year, mostly bad, but the Tigers have been worse. They basically rank dead last in every offensive category against right-handed pitching and they’re missing Riley Greene, their best hitter against righties. This feels like a spot we’re going to get a ceiling game out of Nelson and the fourth time this year he tops 16 DKP, which at his price tag is a win.
MLB DFS Value Hitters
Gunnar Henderson, Baltimore Orioles (DraftKings - $3,600, FanDuel - $2,800)
The Orioles have gotten a nice spark from Henderson lately as his numbers have really begun to come around after an abysmal start to the year. He’s coming off a 3-for-3 with two stolen bases on Friday and has two home runs over his last five games as well. Over the last 30 days, Henderson has a .316 ISO and .380 wOBA against right-handed pitching and Brady Singer has really had a subpar year this season. Lefties have a .227 ISO and .389 wOBA along with an astronomical 64% hard-hit rate.
Emmanuel Rivera, Arizona Diamondbacks (DraftKings - $3,200, FanDuel - $2,800)
One of the most pleasant surprises this season for the Diamondbacks has been the emergence of Emmanuel Rivera. Rivera continues to rake against left-handed pitching, posting a .417 wOBA and .156 ISO. He is hitting .444 over his last 10 games with four multi-hit outings over his last five. Righties have gotten to Matthew Boyd and have posted a .160 ISO and .329 wOBA this year. Rivera is one of the top values of the day.
Brandon Dixon, San Diego Padres (DraftKings - $3,000, FanDuel - $2,800)
When you think of Brandon Dixon think of power, because that’s what he brings to the table. Over the last 30 days, Dixon has a .231 ISO against left-handed pitching and is coming off a game in which he homered last night. He gets the Coors Field bump and faces Kyle Freeland who has allowed a .217 ISO and .336 wOBA to right-handed bats. He’s a cheap way to afford your Padres’ stacks on Saturday.
Ramon Laureano, Oakland Athletics (DraftKings - $2,600, FanDuel - $2,700)
Things are going to come crashing down for Julio Teheran sooner rather than later as he has a 1.56 ERA but a 4.84 xFIP and 4.80 SIERA. Laureano is now riding a 10-game hitting streak and has been doing a little of everything. He has hit .353 with six RBI and three stolen bases over that span and is hitting in the middle of the Oakland lineup at an incredibly cheap price point.

Daulton Varsho picked up three hits, three RBI and a homer in a win over the Angels on Thursday.
Varsho has only played in seven games this year, but they’ve been seven good ones. He’s homered three times already, and his slugging percentage is a remarkable — and entirely unsustainable — .727 over 22 at-bats. Varsho has been a mediocre offensive player in his two seasons with the Blue Jays, but it’s possible at the age of 28 he’s having a breakout campaign. Far from a guarantee, but possible.
Taylor Ward hit a two-run homer in a loss to the Blue Jays on Thursday.
Ward, 31, gave the Angels a 2-0 lead with a two-run homer off Chris Bassitt in the first inning. He’s now gone deep in two of his last three games, and it ‘improves’ his slash to .181/.224/.391. Ward has been one of the most hot/cold players players in the sport over the last few years, so fantasy managers who can afford to make some roster moves may want to look at Ward while the going is good.
Vladimir Guerrero Jr. picked up three hits and scored twice in an 8-5 win over the Angels on Thursday.
Guerrero also drew a walk. It gives the first baseman multiple hits in back-to-back games, and it’s the third time in May that he’s reached that mark. That’s helped raise his average from .268 to .295, and the only thing fantasy managers can be disappointed with is his .432 slugging percentage. That number should continue to climb as the season unfolds, but Vladdy Jr. has had some inconsistent seasons when it comes to power production.
Chad Green picked up his first save of 2025 with a scoreless ninth against the Angels on Thursday.
Green got the save after Jeff Hoffman worked in back-to-back games — and struggled — in the first two contests against the Angels. He struck out two and looked the part while needing just nine pitches to get through the inning. Hoffman should remain the closer, but Green is on his tail if the struggles were to continue.
Chris Bassitt allowed five runs — four earned — while working six-plus innings against the Angels on Thursday while picking up a win.
Bassitt allowed three runs over the first two innings on a pair of homers, but settled down over his next four frames. He came out to work the seventh, but ended up being charged for two more runs after leaving the contest. The 36-year-old veteran has forged a 3.35 ERA and outstanding 49/8 K/BB ratio over the first quarter of the season, but this wasn’t him at his best. He’ll get the Rays next week if the rotation order stays the same for Toronto.
José Soriano allowed three runs over five innings while not factoring in the decision Thursday against the Blue Jays.
Soriano left with a 4-3 lead, but it was erased quickly after his departure. The 26-year-old was not exactly dominant in his outing with eight hits allowed and four free passes, but he did strike out six to help balance things out a smidgen. Soriano takes an even ERA of 4.00 into a scheduled start against the Padres in San Diego on Tuesday. There should be better options for that one.
