Vientos is one of my top MLB DFS Underdog Picks of the day against Dodgers starter Walker Buehler. 

Vientos has multiple hits in four of his last five games while driving in nine runs and scoring four more. He now has a .251 ISO and .347 wOBA against right-handed pitchers this season, and Buehler has struggled against same-handed batters. Righties have a .201 ISO and .360 wOBA against him on the year.

 

 

 

Shohei Ohtani MLB Underdog Pick: More Than 1.5 Total Bases

The postseason hasn’t been great for him, but this is a spot I’m pushing my chips to the middle of the table for. Shohei Ohtani’s total bases are one of the best MLB DFS Underdog Picks of the day. Ohtani thrives against fastballs and Luis Severino throws a LOT of fastballs. 

Over his last 30 days against lefties, 53 of 74 pitches have been fastballs and opponents are destroying it to a .333 ISO and .552 wOBA. Ohtani crushes fastballs posting a .381 ISO and .465 wOBA this year. Ohtani is going to get back on track in this spot and having him on the road, potentially getting us an extra at-bat is very useful.
