Brandon Pfaadt PrizePicks MLB Pick: More Than 6.5 Strikeouts

We’re not talking about the biggest strikeout arm in the game with Brandon Pfaadt here, but the matchup is great. In June, nobody is striking out more than the Oakland Athletics against right-handed pitching as they’ve posted a 27.7% K-rate. Their .605 team OPS is 27th in baseball, so they’re not doing much of anything against righties. Pfaadt himself has a 21% K-rate on the year and has topped this number six times across 16 starts, but what’s interesting is he’s favored to have more than 6.5 today. Stuff like that stands out like a sore thumb. Pfaadt has struggled with lefties this year, but Oakland is projected to have SIX righties in their lineup today. Has a 26.6% K-rate against righties.
