Jelani Jenkins
Player News
Jenkins was released Tuesday by the Bills, Chris Brown of the Bills' official site reports.
Jenkins was just signed by the Bills a week ago after being let go by the Raiders, but he'll now be on the open market once again. Jenkins was inactive for Sunday's contest against the Panthers.
Jelani Jenkins (knee) is questionable for Sunday's game.
Jenkins didn't play the last 2 games of the regular season as he's been battling a knee injury. The 4th-year LB says that he's been feeling better recently and is optimistic about playing in Saturday's Wild Card playoff game in Pittsburgh.
Jelani Jenkins (knee) practices again on Thursday.
This is great news for the Dolphins as the necessity for Jenkins is very evident. His assignment in the Wild Card round will be one thing and one thing only - Le'Veon Bell. Jenkins only played in nine games during the regular season making 29 tackles.
Jelani Jenkins (knee) was officially ruled doubtful for Week 17.
Jenkins was all but ruled out on Thursday by his defensive coordinator, Vance Joseph, as the Dolphins head into the season finale. He is still dealing with soreness in his knee and with Miami assured of a playoff spot, they may as well rest him ahead of the Wild Card game next Sunday.
