Colts placed RB Ahmad Bradshaw (wrist) on Injured Reserve, ending his season.
It was a real nice story for Bradshaw returning to the Colts and even scoring three touchdowns in just six games of work. He left in the fourth quarter of the Colts win over the Buccaneers. We will see if the Colts head back to the free agent market to find a veteran to back up Frank Gore or go back to Josh Robinson.
Ahmad Bradshaw suffered a right wrist injury in Week 12, but the preliminary X-rays were negative.
Bradshaw's wrist has some bad swelling but it sounds like his injury is not too detrimental to where he will a lot of time. Either way, Bradshaw is not a guy you want to start on your fantasy roster.
Ahmad Bradshaw carried the ball nine times for 32 yards and caught all four of his targets for 20 yards with two touchdowns in a 24-21 victory over the Falcons on Sunday.
Bradshaw is going to be more of a factor in the team's passing attack, and Matt Hasselbeck will likely look his way pretty often. He has caught a touchdown pass in each of the past two games and he will look to extend that streak to three games next week against the Bucs.
Ahmad Bradshaw is officially active for Sunday's game against the Patriots.
Bradshaw, familiar with this offense already, should serve as the third-down/pass catching back behind Frank Gore on the depth chart.
