For tonight's NHL slate we have three games on tap, which means fewer options for player props. There are many different ways to approach props but I have selected two of my favorites from the Anaheim Ducks and Vancouver Canucks. The Ducks are playing the Sharks tonight which means Ducks props will be very popular.

Mason McTavish, Anaheim Ducks - HIGHER than 2.5 Shots

Mason McTavish has been a spark plug for the Ducks this year. He has 14 points in 13 games and always seems to be in the right place on the ice to make plays. He has gone higher than 2.5 shots in six of his last seven games and is in a juicy matchup against the struggling Sharks who allow 38 shots per game. DraftKings sportsbook has the over on his 2.5 shots set at -110 and I like him to hit in this game.

J.T. Miller, Vancouver Canucks - LOWER than 3.5 Shots

J.T. Miller has been unreal this season. He has 21 points in 14 games and has scored a goal in seven of his last eight games. Miller and the Canucks have been rolling their opponents with ease, but one thing he does not do consistently is record high volumes of shots. He has only recorded four or more shots three times this season. In his last nine games, he has gone lower than 3.5 shots EIGHT times. He may score a goal and he may even have a multi-point game, but Vancouver is on a back-to-back and I see him going under 3.5 shots.
