Welcome to another batch of NHL DFS picks! We have a massive 10-game slate with a handful of teams expected to score a lot of goals.

NHL DFS Picks & Daily Fantasy Playbook Today, March 25th
Before we get into NHL DFS picks, let’s make some pick’em picks for the night over on Sleeper.
There are lots of ways we try to fill your wallet over here at Fantasy Alarm and this is just another option.
NHL Pick 'Em Picks On Sleeper Fantasy Today
- Auston Matthews O/0.5 G
- Nathan MacKinnon O/0.5 PPP
- Tage Thompson O/0.5 P
Auston Matthews has scored 27 goals this season, 18 of which have come on home ice. He’s got a fantastic matchup against the Flyers, who love to give up scoring chances. This is a prime spot for Matthews to find the back of the net.
The Detroit Red Wings have a terrible penalty kill and the Avalanche are going to have a field day if they get numerous chances. Nathan MacKinnon just racks up points on home ice and I like his chances of getting a power play point.
Like most superstars, Tage Thompson is much better on home ice than on the road. The Senators aren’t a terrible team, but Buffalo is, and they will likely be playing catchup hockey. Thompson is going to see a ton of ice time, so the odds of him getting on the scoresheet are pretty good.
Tuesday Salary Cap NHL DFS Picks
Goalie Of The Day: Darcy Kuemper - LAK
The Los Angeles Kings are an elite hockey team on home ice and a reason for that has been the play of Darcy Kuemper. The veteran netminder has a 15-1-2 record at home, so at this point of the season, when he is in action at Crypto.com Arena, we play him. Don’t overthink this one.
Honorable Mention: Dustin Wolf - CGY
Dustin Wolf has been very good this season and is showing no signs of slowing down. Seattle is a terrible offensive team, and they probably won’t score many goals tonight. Wolf has fantastic numbers at home, so he has a very good chance of hitting value. He just needs his team to provide him with some goal support.
Player Of The Day: Nathan MacKinnon - COL
Close to 60% of Nathan MacKinnon’s points have come on home ice. He is going to get so many chances to abuse the Red Wings penalty kill and their inability to defend on the road. Nate needs a multi-point performance to hit value and that could happen before the first period ends. I’m all in on MacKinnon tonight and you should be too.
Honorable Mention: Cale Makar - COL
Can’t afford to play MacKinnon? Not a problem, we just pivot to Cale Makar. He has 26 goals on the season and is a big part of Colorado’s top power play unit. He has more points on the road than at home, but that doesn’t concern me too much. He should have no shortage of chances to rack up points and shots.
Value Play Of The Day: Taylor Hall - CAR
Unlike Mikko Rantanen, Taylor Hall seems to be having a lot of fun in Carolina. He’s coming off a three-goal performance against the Anaheim Ducks and is seeing a healthy amount of ice time. He’s also found a spot on the top power play unit, so for $5200 against the Nashville Predators, I’ll gladly have some exposure to him in all formats.
Honorable Mention: Nick Blankenburg - NSH
We need to find a value defenceman so we can afford to roster some of the expensive players. Carolina is top-5 in shots per game on home ice, so the Predators are going to be in for a long night. Nick Blankenburgh is seeing time on the top power play unit, kills penalties and sees just about 20 minutes per game. He’s also capable of blocking shots. He’s a cheap jack-of-all-trades that can hit value without having to register a point.
Stack Of The Day - COL PP1 (Nathan MacKinnon - Cale Makar - Martin Necas)
No need to explain this one since we’ve been over it already. Let’s use this time to talk about something just as important: The NHL's inability to determine what goalie interference is. Will there ever be a clear definition? Probably not, but I do feel bad for Islander fans because they got robbed last night. Anyways, stack Colorado’s top power play unit and move on.
