Tage Thompson scored a goal in Friday's 3-2 win over the Chicago Blackhawks.
Thompson ripped a shot past Collin Delia to finally get the Sabres on the board in the third period. The 24-year-old could be a solid mid-round option pick in points-based leagues as he is still very early in his NHL career. Thompson finished the season with 38 goals and 68 points through 78 games.

Thompson has 37 goals and 67 points this season, easily smashing his previous best season in the NHL when he had eight goals and 14 points in 38 games last season. This year's effort has established Thompson as one of the best power forwards in the NHL and his talent will certainly help the Sabres in the future as they are finally looking like a team that could make the playoffs in the next year or two.
