Stars vs. Golden Knights Predictions

It’s a big-time matchup in the Western Conference tonight as Vegas and Dallas square off in a potential playoffs series preview later down the line! Both teams of course have been very good this season to be expected but the home/road splits for these teams have been interesting to me. Vegas is a fantastic home team this season sitting at 10-3-0 and is scoring 4 goals per game, 3rd most in the NHL among home teams. The defense isn’t too shabby either as they allow just 2.92 goals per game. 

Flip it to the other side while Dallas is great at home, they have struggled to a 6-7-0 record thus far on the road. They are middle of the pack in goals against at 3.08 which is way up from their home stats and they are scoring 3 goals per game, so they are operating at net deficit! Its with these factors that I wonder why Vegas are slight underdogs tonight, but I won’t question it too much as that’s where my wager is going tonight on the home team Money Line.
