We have a smaller three-game slate to close out the week and it features two heavy favorites in the New Jersey Devils and the Minnesota Wild. That is where we'll focus our prop attention, as we should be getting the most production out of their offenses tonight.

NHL Picks, Predictions & Best Bets Today, 11/10

With only three games on the slate, the options are limited but despite the lack of volume, the options are rather clear. Let's keep things simple tonight and stick with what we know works – targeting bad defenses with good offensive players.

San Jose Sharks vs. New Jersey Devils Prediction: Sunday, November 10th

The New Jersey Devils are coming off a thrilling come-from-behind victory over the New York Islanders last night and now have the San Jose Sharks waiting for them tonight.

This is about as lopsided of a matchup as you can find in today's NHL and it should be all Devils from start to finish. This season, the Sharks are in the bottom five of the league in both Goals Allowed (3.13) and Total Shot Attempts Allowed (68.67), both per 60 minutes in five-on-five situations.

The Devils' offense is only at 2.70 Goals scored in the same situations, which is 13th in the league, but their power-play is buzzing at 29.4%, which is the fifth-best in the league. Those extra chances will only lead to more shot opportunities for one of the best offenses in the league.

Let's turn to the Devils' top-line center, Nico Hischier, who comes in with 47 shots on goal through 17 games. He's coming off a few slower games, but this is the ideal matchup for him to be back on home and rack up the shots against a very weak defense.

Minnesota Wild vs. Chicago Blackhawks Prediction: Sunday, November 10th

If it ain't broke, don't fix it. That's the approach for Kirill Kaprizov of the Minnesota Wild, who comes with a whopping 27 points in 14 games this season. The former Calder Trophy winner is continuing a strong start to his career and that shouldn't be changing tonight against the lowly Chicago Blackhawks

Kaprizov, of course, skates on the first forward line and the first power-play unit, which has allowed him to rack up the points early and often this season. The Wild are scoring 2.96 Goals per 60 minutes in five-on-five situations, which his the eighth-best in the NHL and Kaprizov plays a big part in that.

The Wild's power play is sitting just outside the top 10 in the league at 22.2%, which has been a solid source of production for Kaprizov, with 8 of his 27 coming via a man-up. There's no reason to fear the Chicago defense and with Kaprizov on fire right now, we simply stick with an elite player and grab his prop at plus money.
