Welcome into NHL player projections central for the season on Underdog Fantasy! Player projections are becoming one of the hottest growing things in hockey over the past few seasons and I have definitely taken notice as it adds yet another layer to a great game experience. Throughout this season you will find picks offered on the Underdog site that I find the most appealing as there are many to choose from so that's why I'm here to help you sift through the options.

For today's slate, we have 7 games on tap around the NHL and plenty of options for player props! I have highlighted a trio of plays that I will be following tonight that includes 3 players around the league for the Florida Panthers, New York Rangers and Vancouver Canucks! Good luck to everyone on the plays tonight, let's win some cheddar!

NHL Underdog Fantasy Top Picks November 20

Carter Verhaeghe, Florida Panthers  - HIGHER than 3.0 Shots On Goal

When you have the highest game total on the slate their are bound to be NHL picks on Underdog for this game and of course there is a great one to select. Verhaeghe resides on the Panthers top line right now and that means big minutes and opportunity, especially against a weak team like the Oilers on defense. This season he has gone higher than 3 shots on goal in 7 games and lower just three times, there are of course 7 pushes in the stats as well but that doesn't cost us money!

Mika Zibanejad, New York Rangers - HIGHER than 2.5 Shots on Goal

The Rangers are rolling through their games right now and its on the backs of several players Zibanejad included! It'll be a tough overall matchup tonight against the Dallas Stars but they do allow plenty of shots, 32.13 per game to be exact and that's the 8th most in the NHL. Zibanejad has gone higher than 2.5 shots in 10 of 15 games this season already for a hit rate of 67% overall, I think he tops it again tonight.

Conor Garland, Vancouver Canucks - HIGHER than 2.0 Shots on Goal

In all honesty you could look at all the Canucks plays on Underdog tonight with rose colored glasses in a matchup against the San Jose Sharks. Garland is one that sticks out to me though as the number is low at 2 shots on goal and its very reasonable he could get 3-5 total shots by the end of the night. Garland has averaged 2.6 shots on goal over the last 5 games and the Sharks allow 38.35 shots on goal per game, you do the math on that and go Canucks to the moon.
