Titans vs. Commanders Predictions For NFL Week 13, Sunday 12/1

Prior to the season, this matchup wasn’t expected to be very meaningful, especially this late into the season. Tennessee has largely lived up to the billing, but it’s Washington that has exceeded expectations. However, they’ve been on a bit of a skid as of late.

While the Titans are far from elite, they do still present an issue for the Commanders bouncing back. Tennessee boasts the best pass defense in several regards, and with Washington’s success coming on the back of rookie QB Jayden Daniels, he is going to need to step up in a big way.

So, we’re anticipating him trying to take over the game using his legs, which he is more than capable of. Daniels is also the focus of the best bet from our Titans vs. Commanders predictions coming up, but perhaps not in the way that you’d think!

Tennessee Titans: Taking Down Contenders

You may have had to double-take Tennessee’s storyline, but no, not Commanders - contenders. Of course, the Commanders are this week’s contender for the Titans to try and take down, and they’re coming off a quite impressive upset.

On the road in Houston against a Texans team that had just looked like they had found their way on Sunday Night Football, Tennessee pulled off the improbable upset. As moral-boosting as it was, they’re still sitting at 3-8 on the season, so they’ll almost certainly just be playing spoiler from here on out.

Washington Commanders: Finding Their Form

Just as the Texans have been struggling to find consistency and their early-season form, so too are the Commanders. After their remarkable 7-2 start, many were concerned about their opponents stepping up in class. Well, that came to fruition.

Washington has now lost three straight, including one to the Philadelphia Eagles, putting them 2.5 games back in the NFC East. The NFC North also has three teams with records of 8-3 or better, so an NFC Wild Card spot is still going to be tough to come by. A weaker opponent while at home should help the Commanders find their form, but it’s far from a given.

Titans vs. Commanders Odds, Spreads, Total & Betting Lines

It’s clear that the sportsbooks also expect Washington to come back, so before we dive into the top pick from our Titans vs. Commanders predictions, here are the latest Titans vs. Commanders odds at BetMGM Sportsbook:

Titans vs. Commanders Best Bet: Jayden Daniels Under 212.5 Passing Yards (-115 at BetMGM Sportsbook)

While we’d also anticipate Washington getting back in the win column, we’re going to focus on the player prop markets regarding our Titans vs. Commanders predictions. There are several injuries at play in this contest, and with Tennessee having the ability to randomly show up against better opponents, we’d rather take this approach.

We previously noted that Daniels is going to need to take control of this game using his legs, and we expect that to lead to fewer passing yards. This is actually a prop we took early this season following his 326-yard performance against the Chicago Bears. It proved to be a great buy-low spot, as he threw for just 209 yards the next week.

In fact, he went on to throw for 209, 202 and 191 yards in three straight games. Having just ended that low streak with 275 passing yards, this is another fantastic buy-low spot. Keep in mind, he was just involved in that absolutely wild finish against the Dallas Cowboys last Sunday that included a miraculous 86-yard touchdown pass to WR Terry McLaurin.

Without that last-minute explosive play, Daniels would have again thrown for fewer than 200 yards. Now, he faces an absolutely elite passing defense giving up the fewest yards per game through the air of any team (169.6/game).

So, we’re locking in the best bet from our Titans vs. Commanders predictions on Jayden Daniels under 212.5 passing yards (-115 at BetMGM Sportsbook).
