NFL Week 17 is here and we get another opportunity to build some winning DFS lineups and win back all that money we shelled out for the holidays. Not that it isn't better to give than to receive, but a little replenishment can't hurt.

The end of the NFL season has been a lucrative one for us and we're looking to finish strong with just two weeks left of the regular season. Last week we nailed it, once again, from players like Baker Mayfield to De'Von Achane to Brian Thomas to Chig Okonkwo. I didn't score the full Playbook last week with the holidays, but I know all my lineups cashed and while I didn't break the bank with any GPP wins, turning a profit was the achievable goal. We had a few whiffs which is to be expected, especially when building some funky GPP tournament lineups, but overall, it was another great week for the #FAmily.

This week is certainly going to be an interesting one because of the smaller-than-usual slate. If you're playing on DraftKings, it's just an eight-game slate. If you're on FanDuel, you get the Washington Commanders vs/ Atlanta Falcons as well for a ninth game, but with sever weather issues, are we really benefitting? We'll have to see. But something to remember – we're going to see a lot of chalk being played this week. With limited directions to go, we're going to see a ton of overlap, so expect pay-lines to be the way they were three weeks ago. We'll identify the chalk in the player write-ups and see if we can't zig when the rest of the world zags for a bigger GPP payout. Let's get to it.

NFL Injuries: What to Know for Week 17 DFS

**Be sure to always check in with the most recently updated NFL Injury Report ahead of the Week 16 Sunday games. Here are a few players we are monitoring which could help open up additional value for GPP tournament lineups.

Key Names to Track:

Antony Richardson, QB Indianapolis Colts

  • Ruled OUT on Saturday

Tua Tagovailoa, QB Miami Dolphins

  • Wants to play but downgraded to DOUBTFUL on Saturday.

Tony Pollard, RB Tennessee Titans

  • No practice all week again; questionable for Sunday but looking like the same as last week. DID NOT TRAVEL WITH THE TEAM ON SATURDAY.

Tyreek Hill/Jaylen Waddle, WR Miami Dolphins

  • Both put in limited practices to close out the week and are expected to play. Hill is more probable than Waddle.

Malik Nabers, WR New York Giants

  • Questionable with a toe injury; stated late in the week that he felt like he would be a game-time decision. Expected to play but keep an eye out.

Davante Adams, WR New York Jets

QBJosh AllenNYJ @ BUF Sun 1:0085009100

If you can afford to pay up at the QB spot, Allen is always worth a look, even in the rain. Many are wondering if he'll get pulled if the Bills are up big, but given the act that a win locks them into the No. 2 seed and all the “Lamar Jackson for MVP” hype that came out of the Christmas Day games, I have a feeling Allen will want to show out for this one. Especially against a division rival like the Jets.

Game Type: CASH & GPP
Weather: Rain
QBJayden DanielsATL @ WAS Sun 8:208500

FANDUEL ONLY – We're supposed to see a lot of rain in this one which will likely shorten up the passing game. But we use Daniels for his rushing upside and his ability to make things happen even when it looks like a loss of yardage is coming. The Falcons defense has been struggling lately, so if you want a big piece of that late-night hammer on FD, Daniels is a great option.

Game Type: CASH & GPP
Weather: Clear
QBBaker MayfieldCAR @ TB Sun 1:0069008200

He's going to be a popular play for me as this match-up against the Panthers is pretty tasty. Yes, we will see a heavy lean on the run, but Baker is hellbent on getting Mike Evans to his 1,000-yard plateau and he wants to lead this team to a division title. He didn't do much the last time he faced the Panthers, but should step things up against them this week.

Game Type: CASH & GPP
Weather: Cloudy
QBSam DarnoldGB @ MIN Sun 4:2564007700

He's going to be incredibly chalky, but after throwing for 275 yards and three touchdowns the last time he faced the Packers, you can expect him to try and deliver at the same level this week. The Packers do a great job against the run and while Aaron Jones is looking to turn out for his second revenge-game, I thin Minnesota is going to air it out a little more this week. Darnold has the weaponry and the Packers secondary takes a hit with Jaire Alexander already ruled out and slot-corner Javon Bullard questionable for this one.

Game Type: CASH & GPP
Weather: Freezing drizzle
QBJordan LoveGB @ MIN Sun 4:2562007800

My man Jon Impemba says that he's got Love on the cover of the QB Coach for a reason. He had a spectacular showing against the Vikings in Week 4 and their secondary has definitely softened since then. Just like the other side of this game, the Vikings do a great job against the run and there will definitely be a focus on stifling Josh Jacobs. If this one turns into a back-and-forth Love should deliver what we need for DFS.

Game Type: CASH & GPP
Weather: Freezing drizzle
QBMason RudolphTEN @ JAC Sun 1:0050006700

He's posted 20-plus fantasy points in back-to-back efforts since taking over for Will Levis and given the fact that the Jaguars rank near the bottom in every defensive metric against the pass, we can take “The Dragon” for a spin this week. He's pretty locked onto Calvin Ridley and Chig Okonkwo so if you're building a GPP stack to save money, the Titans should be in a good spot for you.

Game Type: GPP
Weather: Partly sunny
RBSaquon BarkleyDAL @ PHI Sun 1:0086009600

Barley is 162 yards away from his first 2,000-yard season and 267 yards away from breaking Eric Dickerson's single-season rushing record with two games to go. Now, with Kenny Pickett under center, he faces the Cowboys, a run defense we have targeted against all season long. Dallas gives up the sixth-most rushing yards per game and have allowed the most rushing touchdowns in the league. It's wheels up for Barkley.

Game Type: CASH & GPP
Weather: Sunny
RBBijan RobinsonATL @ WAS Sun 8:208900

FANDUEL ONLY – Huge volume coming his way once again as we are expecting heavy rain throughout this game. The Commanders rank 25th in DVOA against the run and are allowing the fourth-most rushing yards per game this season. The Falcons need this win to stay atop the NFC South and keep pace with the Buccaneers, so expect them to stay pretty conservative in a close game. the only way they truly deviate from a run-heavy scheme is if they fall behind by two or more scores.

Game Type: CASH & GPP
Weather: Clear
RBJonathan TaylorIND @ NYG Sun 1:0079008400

Last week, Taylor was so fired up to erase the Week 15 memory of dropping the football before breaking the goal-line plane that he went bananas, rushing for over 200 yards and three touchdowns. He will look to continue asserting his dominance against the Giants who allow the second-most rushing yards per game and have coughed up 16 rushing touchdowns on the season. Obviously, we like him even more if Richardson is out and Joe Flacco is under center. UPDATE: Richardson is out. Flacco will be the starting QB. Like I said, I now like Taylor even more.

Game Type: CASH & GPP
Weather: Mostly sunny
RBBucky IrvingCAR @ TB Sun 1:0067008000

He'll be super-chalky and rightfully so. Bucky has two 100-yard games in his last four and four touchdowns in his last six. One of those games came against the Panthers where he motored for 152 rushing yards and a touchdown. I am definitely feeling good about locking him into both a cash game and a GPP tournament, though you will mostly see me use in him cash due to our DFS Ownership projections.

Game Type: CASH & GPP
Weather: Cloudy
RBRachaad WhiteCAR @ TB Sun 1:0057006800

With everyone and their grandmother looking at Bucky, I'm definitely using White in my GPP tournament lineups. He plays at least a 50% snap share and up until last week, he was seeing double-digit carries and work in the passing game. Last week, in lieu of any real rushing, he at least gave us seven catches. Ownership will be low and the match-up is super-soft, making him an ideal GPP candidate.

Game Type: GPP
Weather: Cloudy
RBKendre MillerLV @ NO Sun 1:0055006200

Forget about what we saw last Monday night. The Green Bay run defense is much stronger than what Miller will face this week. The Raiders rank 21st in DVOA against the run and are allowing 118 rushing yards per game with 13 rushing touchdowns allowed on the season. With volume and a Kubiak/Dennison blocking scheme, he should fare well for us in both cash and GPPs.

Game Type: CASH & GPP
Weather: Mostly sunny
RBTyjae SpearsTEN @ JAC Sun 1:0054005800

I was going to leave him out of the Playbook but was still considering him for the Dart Board, but with Tony Pollard not travelling with the team and Chuba Hubbard now off the table, we need some additional value at the running back position. The Jaguars are better against the run than they are against the pass, but not by enough for us to not lock in Spears as a strong value running back. Jacksonville is allowing an average of 128 rushing yards per game and have given up 18 rushing touchdowns on the season.

Game Type: CASH & GPP
Weather: Partly sunny
WRJustin JeffersonGB @ MIN Sun 4:2583009000

With no Jaire Alexander, so you all need me to do analysis on Jefferson or do you just feel confident in the fact that he's an elite receiver playing at home in a weather-neutral game with a 48.5 game total? Thank you for not making me write more.

Game Type: CASH & GPP
Weather: Freezing drizzle
WRMike EvansCAR @ TB Sun 1:0075008600

He is 182 receiving yards away from hitting 1,000 yards for the 11th-straight season. He wants the milestone and Baker Mayfield wants to get him there With Jaycee Horn out for this one, Evans should have some wide open spaces to haul in some catches and pad those totals.

Game Type: CASH & GPP
Weather: Cloudy
WRDavante AdamsNYJ @ BUF Sun 1:0071008100

He's got a questionable tag on him, so be sure to monitor his health leading up to game-time. But Adams is averaging a 12 target per game over the last seven and Aaron Rodgers is sitting on 499 passing touchdowns. Guess who's catching No. 500? If he's playing, which he should, he is going to be a lock in my lineups.

Game Type: CASH & GPP
Weather: Rain
WRTerry McLaurinATL @ WAS Sun 8:207900

FANDUEL ONLY – The weather is going to be pretty gross, but so is the pass coverage for the Falcons in recent weeks McLaurin is playing out of his mind right now and he is the No. 1 target for Jayden Daniels. Hopefully the rain isn't a consistent downpour and we see some pockets of clear weather open up. Once they do, we could see increased shots downfield to McLaurin.

Game Type: GPP
Weather: Clear
WRBrian ThomasTEN @ JAC Sun 1:0068007500

We talk about the consolidated targets in Jacksonville all the time and they keep Thomas in-play week in and week out. Mac Jones throws to him and the tight end routinely and as a result, Thomas has averaged 10 targets per game over the last four weeks. With that kind of volume and a soft match-up against a struggling Titans secondary, Thomas should deliver exactly what we need this week.

Game Type: CASH & GPP
Weather: Partly sunny
WRDrake LondonATL @ WAS Sun 8:207100

FANDUEL ONLY – I was originally in on Darnell Mooney more, but with the heavy rain and news that Marshon Lattimore is out for this game, London is back in-play for us here. He will see the majority of targets from Michael Penix and will be leaned on to help move the chains whenever they need to throw. Yes, Bijan Robinson will dominate the touches but it's not like Atlanta isn't going to throw at all. London is a solid piece if you're looking for late-night hammers.

Game Type: CASH & GPP
Weather: Clear
WRJakobi MeyersLV @ NO Sun 1:0060006600

Despite the fact that the Saints secondary is pretty trashy, the upside for Meyers really isn't that crazy which is why he is strictly a cash game play for me. Meyers sees consistent targets and he and Aidan O'Connell have a nice rapport together. I expect a strong target share this week and good, solid, high-floor numbers.

Game Type: CASH
Weather: Mostly sunny
WRJayden ReedGB @ MIN Sun 4:2559006700

While I don't expect Reed to duplicate his seven catches for 139 yards and a touchdown from the last time these teams played, I do expect him to have a solid effort worthy of using in GPP tournaments this week. Minnesota's secondary is struggling in recent weeks and even though Cristian Watson is out, the Packers have an array of weapons to fill in and keep Reed in soft coverage and one-on-one match-ups. We also like the gimmick plays as well so maybe we even get a jet sweep touchdown or something fun like that.

Game Type: GPP
Weather: Freezing drizzle
WRCalvin RidleyTEN @ JAC Sun 1:0055006300

The revenge-game narrative didn't work the last time these teams squared off, but maybe it was more Will Levis than it was Ridley. He's the primary receiver in this offense and sees more targets than any other wideout. I expect him to see a strong target share and he should come in and build off the momentum of last week when he had 78 yards and a score.

Game Type: CASH & GPP
Weather: Partly sunny
WRAdam ThielenCAR @ TB Sun 1:0057006200

I got a little nervous when I saw Thielen added to Thursday's injury report, but he was removed on Friday and we are good to go for this match-up. The Bucs pass defense is soft, ranking 25th in DVOA and allowing the second-most passing yards per game. They've also coughed up the third-most passing touchdowns this season. I expect the heavy lean on Thielen to continue this week and now that Chuba Hubbard is out, he'll be the guy I use to come back against my Bucs stack.

Game Type: CASH & GPP
Weather: Cloudy
WRJosh DownsIND @ NYG Sun 1:0048006100

Just erased what I wrote earlier because everything as based on what happens if Richardson plays or not. Well, he's not. It will be Joe Flacco under center which means we are in on Downs and possibly even Michael Pittman. I still think there's a heavy lean on Taylor and the ground game, but we al know how Flacco likes to sling the rock and that will keep Downs plenty busy.

Game Type: CASH & GPP
Weather: Mostly sunny
WRMichael PittmanIND @ NYG Sun 1:0047005900

LATE ADD: For those using the DFS Lineup Generator, I wanted to make sure I included Pittman as a GPP play now that we know Joe Flacco is under center. Most of the DFS community will go to Josh Downs, so much like we are doing with Rachaad White vs Bucky Irving, we'll happily use Pittman as the tournament pivot against a bad Giants secondary.

Game Type: GPP
Weather: Mostly sunny
TEBrock BowersLV @ NO Sun 1:0067007600

He's the No. 1 target in this offense and should continue to be the target-monster we have all relied on throughout the season. The Saints do cover the tight end fairly well, but Bowers is a totally different type of animal here and does some good work lining up all over the field. It's going to be tough to pay up for a tight end this week, but if we can, this is where we will land.

Game Type: CASH & GPP
Weather: Mostly sunny
TET.J. HockensonGB @ MIN Sun 4:2545005700

He doesn't see the target consistency I would prefer for cash games, but we know Hockenson is a major talent and can definitely blow up in the right match-up. The Packers rank 20th in DVOA against the tight end and allow the eighth-most fantasy points per game to the position. If this game turns into the shootout we are hoping to see, then Hockenson should be a great play.

Game Type: GPP
Weather: Freezing drizzle
TEJake FergusonDAL @ PHI Sun 1:0037005500

While the Eagles are normally solid against the tight end, but with LB Nakobe Dean doubtful for this game, the middle of the field is going to open up even more. If you're looking for a mid-tier play that might be a little contrarian, Ferguson could be a major play this week, especially with CeeDee Lamb ruled out.

Game Type: CASH & GPP
Weather: Sunny
TEChig OkonkwoTEN @ JAC Sun 1:0036005400

He's seen 21 targets in the last two games with Mason Rudolph under center and has turned them into 17 catches for 140 yards. I expect the volume to continue and that is going to be explosive considering the Jaguars rank dead-last in DVOA against he tight end and are allowing the seventh-most fantasy points per game to the position. He's my favorite TE play of the slate.

Game Type: CASH & GPP
Weather: Partly sunny
TETommy TrembleCAR @ TB Sun 1:0032004800

How about a little bit of a dart-throw with some upside. Yes, he's sharing snaps with Ja'Tavion Sanders, but he's still seeing the majority of targets going to the tight end. With Chuba Hubbard out, there could be a heavier lean on the short-passing game which should favor using Tremble as a pay-down this week.

Game Type: GPP
Weather: Cloudy
DSTIndianapolis ColtsIND @ NYG Sun 1:0035004900

The Giants are just a hot mess right now. Drew Lock is good for some turnovers, his protection is soft and they don't have much in the way of healthy offensive weapons.

Game Type: CASH & GPP

DSTMiami DolphinsMIA @ CLE Sun 4:0532004700

Dorian Thompson-Robinson is terrible and we all saw it last week. Now you're putting him in inclement weather against a Dolphins team that needs the win to keep their playoff hopes alive? Yes, please.

Game Type: CASH & GPP
Weather: Sunny
DSTDallas CowboysDAL @ PHI Sun 1:0025003800

I mean…it's Kenny Pickett. We have to take a shot here. Micah Parsons will likely pick up some sacks and if Pickett is the guy we know him to be, we could get some interceptions and maybe even a pick-six.

Game Type: CASH & GPP
Weather: Sunny
DSTCleveland BrownsMIA @ CLE Sun 4:0524003500

Everyone is looking at Miami's defense, but I'm very willing to pivot to Cleveland and Myles Garrett in the rain. Tua has been downgraded to doubtful and Terron Armstead is questionable again, so the protection will be soft.

Game Type: CASH & GPP
Weather: Sunny
DSTLas Vegas RaidersLV @ NO Sun 1:0026003200

Expected to be very chalky this week given the struggles of Spencer Rattler. Should be suitable for both cash and GPP, though if the Saints run the ball heavy, we could see fewer turnovers.

Game Type: CASH & GPP

Most of the DFS community will go to Josh Downs, so much like we are doing with Rachaad White vs Bucky Irving, we'll happily use Pittman as the tournament pivot against a bad Giants secondary.

Weather: Freezing drizzle

While the Eagles are normally solid against the tight end, but with LB Nakobe Dean doubtful for this game, the middle of the field is going to open up even more. If you're looking for a mid-tier play that might be a little contrarian, Ferguson could be a major play this week, especially with CeeDee Lamb ruled out.

Weather: Partly sunny

How about a little bit of a dart-throw with some upside. Yes, he's sharing snaps with Ja'Tavion Sanders, but he's still seeing the majority of targets going to the tight end. With Chuba Hubbard out, there could be a heavier lean on the short-passing game which should favor using Tremble as a pay-down this week.

Game Type: GPP
Weather: Cloudy

The Giants are just a hot mess right now. Drew Lock is good for some turnovers, his protection is soft and they don't have much in the way of healthy offensive weapons.

Dorian Thompson-Robinson is terrible and we all saw it last week. Now you're putting him in inclement weather against a Dolphins team that needs the win to keep their playoff hopes alive? Yes, please.

I mean…it's Kenny Pickett. We have to take a shot here. Micah Parsons will likely pick up some sacks and if Pickett is the guy we know him to be, we could get some interceptions and maybe even a pick-six.

Everyone is looking at Miami's defense, but I'm very willing to pivot to Cleveland and Myles Garrett in the rain. Tua has been downgraded to doubtful and Terron Armstead is questionable again, so the protection will be soft.

Expected to be very chalky this week given the struggles of Spencer Rattler. Should be suitable for both cash and GPP, though if the Saints run the ball heavy, we could see fewer turnovers.
