We have arrived in the final week of the NFL’s regular season. Don’t worry, we know some people have Week 18 fantasy football championships and some people are watching NFL injuries because they’re playing DFS.
We’re going to get this list filled up by weeks with a lot of teams not playing for anything. Let's dive into the final week’s first look at the fantasy football injury report.
NFL Week 18 Injury Report: Quarterbacks
Tua Tagovailoa Injury Update - Hip
It doesn’t seem likely that Tua Tagovailoa will be available heading into the final week of the season. His hip injury is pretty bad, according to head coach Mike McDaniel.
Anthony Richardson Injury Update - Back
The initial reporting on Anthony Richardson was weird because it was deemed as soreness, but it’s been suggested recently that its back spasms causing him issues. Head coach Shane Steichen told the media on Monday that if Richardson’s healthy, he’ll start in Week 18.
Kenny Pickett Injury Update - Ribs
Before he even left with a rib injury, Kenny Pickett reportedly had broken ribs. So he was simply playing through broken ribs. Sheesh. Tanner McKee would likely start Week 18 if Pickett is unavailable.
NFL Week 18 Injury Report: Running Backs
James Conner Injury Update - Knee
After being questionable the entire week leading up to the Cardinals Week 17 game, James Conner played, but exited stage left early and did not return. It was the same knee injury, and his season is likely over.
Alvin Kamara Injury Update - Groin
Per interim head coach Darren Rizzi, it seems as if Alvin Kamara can play, he will, because that’s what he told the media. If the medical staff clears him, he’ll play.
Chase Brown Injury Update - Ankle
Per NFL’s Ian Rapoport, Chase Brown has a realistic chance at playing in Week 18 with a mild sprained ankle.
Aaron Jones Injury Update - Quad
The news is good on the Aaron Jones front as he suffered a quad contusion that isn’t serious. Head coach Kevin O’Connell went as far as to say he should be able to practice this week.
Isiah Pacheco Injury Update - Ribs
We shouldn’t expect Isiah Pacheco to practice this week, and he definitely isn’t going to play in Week 18, but head coach Andy Reid said he’s going to be available for the postseason. His ribs are “tender.”
Tyjae Spears Injury Update - Head
Tyjae Spears suffered a concussion in Week 17 and has already been ruled out for Week 18, which officially puts his season to bed.
Jerome Ford Injury Update - Ankle
After suffering an ankle injury early on in Week 17, Jerome Ford did not return and is definitely questionable to play in the season finale.
Kendre Miller Injury Update - Concussion
Another Kendre Miller injury, this time a concussion. He’s in concussion protocol and will have an uphill battle to play in Week 18.
Justice Hill Injury Update - Illness
After he was unable to practice on Monday, Justice Hill is expected to play this weekend as it’s an illness keeping him sidelined.
NFL Week 18 Injury Report: Wide Receivers
Jaylen Waddle Injury Update - Knee
There is optimism surrounding Jaylen Waddle and there is a realistic chance he returns in the final week of the regular season. Head coach Mike McDonald said re-aggravation was the primary reason he was held out in Week 17.
Christian Watson Injury Update - Knee
He seemed pretty close to playing in Week 17, but Christian Watson did not end up going. He has one last chance in Week 18.
NFL Week 18 Injury Report: Tight Ends
David Njoku Injury Update - Hamstring
Per the Browns unofficially Week 18 depth chart, David Njoku is listed. There was commentary from head coach Kevin Stefanski that all healthy veterans will play if they can go.
