After a night off, the NBA is back on Wednesday, November 6th, and we have a great matchup for this NBA DFS Showdown slate as the Philadelphia 76ers travel across the country to take on the Los Angeles Clippers

Paul George will play his first game against the Clippers since signing in Philly and it’s just his second game of the year. Let's dive into everything NBA DFS Playbook for tonight’s showdown matchup.

76ers vs. Clippers NBA DFS Showdown Picks: MVP & Captain

James Harden - $16,500 DK, $15,000 FD

There is nobody in this game who is a better fantasy option night in and night out than James Harden. He’s averaging 53 DKP/game and is a few games removed from a 25-point triple-double.

He has a double or triple-double in all but one game this year and has a near 31% USG rate. Elite spend up.

Tyrese Maxey - $16,200 DK, $14,000 FD

Paul George returned to action and yet it was still the Tyrese Maxey show. Yes his usage rate took a step back, but he played 41 minutes and scored 32 points, both leading the team.

He also had 46 DKP..also led the team. It’s hard to not want Maxey if you believe George is still limited and shaking off the rust.

Ivica Zubac - $13,500 DK, $13,000 FD

We have to be talking about Ivica Zubac at the top of the most improved player conversations for how well he’s played early on this year. He’s dominating the glass averaging 13 boards per night while also pouring in 17.4 points, 2.7 assists, and 1.4 blocks and steals combined.

Zubac gets a matchup against Andre Drummond and that’s one he can go to WORK in. He’s shown a 39 ceiling, too, so they’re not afraid to ride Zubac if he’s playing well.

UTIL NBA DFS Showdown Plays For Wednesday

Paul George - $10,000 DK, $13,500 FD

I’m also OK if you want to use Paul George in the captain’s spot if you’re seeking “revenge” but I’ll reserve him for my UTIL spots. The 32 minutes he played in his debut was great to see and he played the final 13 straight.

George is ramping up fast and the one thing we know about head coach Nick Nurse is that he plays his guys BIG minutes. George wasn’t great in the debut shooting, but we saw his ability to stuff the stat sheet and why he’s an appealing roster.

Andre Drummond - $8,600 DK, $11,500 FD

Drummond’s tricky because there’s always a possibility that he gets benched (like we saw last game) or he’s in foul trouble, which is entirely possible against Ivica Zubac

That said, he also has a 40+ FP upside when he can stay on the floor because he’s so dominant on the glass. We haven’t seen the ceiling yet, but this is a traditional center matchup between him and Zubac.

Norman Powell - $8,400 DK, $11,000 FD

Norman Powell has been a flat-out bucket this year as the Clippers needed someone else to step up offensively besides James Harden

He’s poured in 20-plus points in every game since the first and is averaging 24.9 on the year. He’s not the best peripheral stat guy, but his 1.05 FP/min average is very solid at his price.

76ers vs. Clippers NBA DFS Picks: Dart Throws

Kyle Lowry - $5,600 DK, $9,000 FD

Lowry’s minutes are very fluid and it’s why he lands here in the dart section. It’s hard to predict when he’s going to play 28 minutes or 17, but he’s played 28+ in two of his last five and the good sign was he played 28 even with Paul George returning to the lineup.

Kris Dunn - $4,800 DK, $8,500 FD

Dunn is pretty solid on a FP/min scale averaging .9 FP/min, which is solid for a guy off the bench playing 20 minutes. He has an even higher minutes ceiling than that, which could be what the decision for the Clippers is here considering how many wings they have that are plus-offensive players.

Kevin Porter - $4,400 DK, $8,000 FD

Kevin Porter is going to play High Teens Minutes and can be a great fantasy producer when he’s out there. Three times in four games he’s put up at least 20 DKP and has a 30.8% USG while averaging 1.06 DKP/min.

Guerschon Yabusele - $4,000 DK, $7,500 FD

Depending on the matchup, the 76ers are not afraid of extending Guerschon Yabusele for big minutes and playing him as the small-ball center. He played the entire fourth quarter last game and played 18 second-half minutes, 30 overall. He’s a nice punt option because he has a ceiling. He also may only play 17 minutes and that’s why he’s the price he is.
