NBA DFS Picks, Projections, Lineups, Injuries & More Today: Wednesday Playbook

After Amen Thompson locked down Steph Curry in their final regular meeting, Curry made sure that wouldn't happen again. It's not going to be easy for him every night, but the role was great and the 31% USG was too.

It was not a great Game 1, but Herro did have some things to like. The minutes would've been right around 40 without losing some on blowout. He also had a 29% USG, which is nice. The price was hovering around 9K post Jimmy Butler trade, so obviously this is great value.

Darius Garland was absolutely awesome in Game 1. He had a 32% USG, scored 27 points, and had nearly 42 DKP as well. With Davion Mitchell guarding Donovan Mitchell, Garland has advantages against basically anyone else on the Heat. The price is so appealing.

We'll see if Game 1 is repeatable for White, but Jayson Tatum is listed as doubtful and without Tatum this year, White has averaged 1.08 FP/min and has a 23.4% USG. In Game 1, White had a 28.4% USG and scored 30 points. That USG actually led the team in Game 1.

This is a new Davion Mitchell. This isn't our parents Davion Mitchell. This guy is great. He once again checked in the game in each half and never sat because he's their best player off the bench. He had a 22% USG in this game, which is great for him, while putting up 38 DKP. The scoring has been quite consistent and the price hasn't caught up to the production either.

Multiple things can be true when it comes to Ty Jerome. Jerome only played 10 first half minutes, but absolutely took the game over in the second half. He had a 33.5% USG rate in this one and scored 28 points and 41.25 DKP. He's a good value and will play a role, but the 26 minutes are probably low-20s if he's not as good as he was and it's a closer game.

All anyone could talk about was Ty Jerome after Game 1 but Donny Mitch just casually had 30 points and 50 DKP. He had a MONSTER 36.7% USG too. Playoff Donny loading.

The Rockets were dreadful offensively in Game 1 and they just simply need more from from Green. They're not good enough offensively without him. He had a 24% USG in Game 1 despite not being impactful at all.

There's a big-time opportunity for Jrue Holiday to step up with Jayson Tatum basically confirmed out. He is a .86 FP/min without Tatum, but the 33 minutes was very nice in Game 1 and it should trend upwards without Tatum.

Podz was great and when his shot is falling, his ceiling is very high because he's so good peripherally. 33 minutes in Game 1 was fantastic.

The last handful of games out of Jimmy Butler have been exactly what you'd expect from him when meaningful games come around. He had 45+ in five consecutive games and has had 48+ in four of them, including three straight. He's elite here.

IF Amen Thompson scores the ball, he could go for 50 FP. Golden State really bottled him up and his hands are full on the other end of the floor chasing Steph Curry around.

Nobody on Boston has a higher USG bump (+4%) and USG rate (33.1%) with Jayson Tatum off the floor. Brown is a 1.27 FP/min player without Tatum and he's not listed on the injury report. They've limited his minutes down the stretch of the year and it's possible they look to extend him here.

Highsmith has a wide range of minutes outcome, so it'll be interesting to see where he finishes, but they've definitely leaned on him through the play-in games and the first game of the playoffs, especially the last two games playing 40 and 31 minutes.

IUt didn't matter that Boston's great defensively in Game 1; Paolo Banchero is great offensively. This is a different test with Al Horford defense looming. That being said, 42 minutes, 27 shots, 11 rebounds. Hard to ignore.

Look for Evan Mobley to be more assertive in Game 2 after a boring Game 1. He did nothing and Bam Adebayo should be credited there, but Mobley's been their second best player all year long.

Smith played 25 minutes in Game 1 and the number could always be more if there's foul trouble. He's a decent value because he can space the floor and if he's making shots, he'll play because Houston needs offense.

With Tatum out, we'll see Al Horford start and play monster minutes. He's been fantastic when extended and he's extremely cheap at 4.3K. 

My eyes perk up when I see Bam Adebayo post a game with a 32% USG. That's what he had in Game 1 and if he's being that aggressive offensively, he's an elite play.

Although Jaylen Brown leads the team in USG, Porzingis leads in FP/min. Porzingis has a robust 28% USG this year without Tatum.

The price is…the price. 5.9K is just silly if he plays 30 minutes.

If Steven Adams is going to play 20 minutes, he's the best sub-4K play of the night. He absolutely destroyed GSW on the glass and GS doesn't have the size to keep him off the glass.
