NBA DFS Picks, Projections, Lineups, Injuries & More Today: Thursday Playbook

I wrote this about SGA in Game 2 and nothing's changed; if the game stays close he's firmly in play. In a 19-point win, which was mostly closer than that, SGA played 38 minutes and took 29 shots.

After a subpar Game 1, Cade Cunningham was a bona fide superstar in Game 2. He scored 33 points and had a 35% USG and he figured out a way to shake OG Anunoby. It's a great spot for Cunningham and the price is too cheap.

There's a chance Denver doubles Kawhi Leonard when he touches the ball and would lead to a LOT of iso for Harden, which is where he excels. He was a star in Game 1 and was still good in Game 2, but obviously that was the Kawhi game. He's been awesome against the Nuggets all year.

The foul baiting aside, my man is trying to take things into his own hands. He's taken 27 shots in two straight games, 10+ FTs in each, and 34+ pts & 49+ DKP.  He had a 40% and 34% USG in back-to-back outings.

The price. That's the tweet. No shot Ja Morant is a sub-8K player, especially if he's going to approach 40 minutes again. No shot he should be this cheap.

Another too-cheap Grizzlies player? You don't say. They're home in this game and let's face it; sub 7K is too cheap.

Schroder has been awesome off the bench for the Pistons and provides them a lot of ball handling in non-Cade minutes and also a guy that play alongside Cunningham. He's topped 26+ minutes in each game this series and has a high offensive ceiling.

Dunn should continue to see around 30 minutes/game and isn't going to give us as much offensively as other guys, but he's a menace defensively.  

We didn't see what the Thunder's real playoff rotation would look like in Game 1, but Game 2 gave us a look at what they'll do. Caruso played 22 minutes and was fantastic on both ends of the floor.

Boy Jalen Williams has been awesome in the first two games of the series. He's topped 40 DKP in each game and 25% USG or better in each. Memphis putting all of it's stock into guarding SGA has helped JDub dominate.

I'd have a VERY hard time believing we don't see a more aggressive version of OG Anunoby in Game 3 after a lackluster Game 2. The price is dropping drastically 

It's been a slow start to the series for Norm Powell but he woke up late in Game 2 and that could be a springboard for what's to come because he was a 21 PPG scorer this year.

Dort has been awesome through two games and the price is pretty solid for his 30+ minute role. We know when he's spacing and knocking down threes his ceiling is high because how good he is defensively.

He was a robot in Game 2. Absolute robot. Will Denver do things differently defensively against Leonard? There's a chance, but if they don't, Leonard is going to eat good again.

Will JJJ, former DPOY winner, step up and stop Chet Holmgren? I'm not sure he will or can from what we've see through two games of this series. Holmgren's gone for 40+ DKP and 25% USG or better. 

Gordon was great in Game 1 and average in Game 2. He's not on the injury report for Game 3 after reports that the team was worried about his calf in Game 2. If MPJ is out or limited, Gordon's spacing will be crucial.

The price and minutes stand out as much as anything. They basically closed both halves with Aldama in Game 2 and he played 30 minutes, which is obviously great off the bench. He hasn't been overly impactful but the 18% USG and his ability to do mostly everything is great.

When looking for raw points, this is our king. Our king of raw fantasy points. He wasn't really great in Game 2 but he played 43 minutes and had a 26-point triple-double. That's all you should need to know. He's THE spend up.

Which KAT will show up? A kitty or a lion? It's 1-1 in terms of which he's been this series. He went 0-3 from the floor in the second half of Game 2. He also dominated in Game 1, putting up nearly 60 DKP and his price point is as low as it's been since November 13th.

Pencil in the double-double, it just depends on what else follows. He has posted 39+ DKP in each game this series and has averaged 36 across six games this year. He's a double-double machine.

I think Duren is fine if Isaiah Stewart plays, but he's great if he doesn't. He played 36 (!!) minutes in Game 2 without Beef Stew. Stewart is questionable and may not play again, which would make me highly intrigued by Duren.
