NBA DFS Picks, Projections, Lineups, Injuries & More Today: Saturday Playbook

Coming off a 59 DK FP performance despite playing only 32 minutes due to first-half foul trouble last night. High usage teammates Miles Bridges and Tre Mann are out tonight. LaMelo has posted an obscene usage rate north of 47% with those two off the floor this season. 

Dame has not quite yet found the chemistry playing alongside Giannis, but we know the ceiling is massive. He can put together a scorching shooting night like few in the league can, and for that reason he should usually be on your GPP list. 

FVV played just 27 minutes last night thanks to a 116-88 blowout of Portland. He had averaged over 44 DK FP in the five games prior to that. If Portland can put forth a better effort this evening, FVV is in a great spot. 

Star teammate Cade Cunningham is out tonight. Ivey has seen a big bump in his usage rate and assist rate with Cade off the floor this season and last season.  

The breakout many have been expecting from Suggs since Paolo Banchero was sidelined finally came in his last game against the Lakers. It remains to be seen if he can find any consistency, but at least we know the ceiling is there. 

Giddey can fill up a stat sheet, but the minutes have been inconsistent thanks to his shortcomings as a defender. Not many players in his price range have legitimate triple-double upside.

There should be some extra possessions available in this matchup of two of the NBA's three fastest teams. LaVine is shooting a career-best 52.1% from the floor this season. 

Miller was incredible last night with 38 points in the Hornets OT win against the Pistons. He has hoisted at least 15 field goal attempts in each of his last eight games and there should be even more available with Bridges and Mann sidelined. 

Bane will be relied upon to do more heavy lifting on the offensive end again if Ja Morant (D) is unable to suit up. His matchup against the Bulls elite, as they rank 1st in Pace and 25th DefRtg.

I love targeting streaky shooters in GPPs, and Green certainly fits that mold. He gets a solid matchup against a poor Portland defense. 

Castle has seen an uptick in minutes since being inserted into the starting lineup, averaging over 30 minutes per game in his nine starts. He remains underpriced for his new role. 

Beasley owns a usage rate north of 24% with Cade Cunningham off the floor this season. The matchup is not ideal, but there should be some extra shots available to him. 

Love the game environment here between two of the fastest paced teams. Dosunmu made his 4th start of the season last game and played over 38 minutes. Significant upside if he starts again. 

Franz has been nothing short of incredible since Paolo Banchero went down. He flashed a 70 FP ceiling last time out against the Lakers. 

Eason is a high-energy player who can put up FP in a hurry. He has posted three straight games of at least 40 FD FP despite averaging less than 25 minutes per game. 

Knecht burst onto the scene with back-to-back ceiling games recently. He came back to earth in a tough matchup against Orlando last game, but the ceiling should not be ignored in large-field GPPs. 

Was excellent in this same matchup last night. Can he do it again? 

Viable salary savers so far are scarce on this slate. Martin has a path to 30+ minutes with Tre Mann and Miles Bridges out. 

Another salary saver who should see significant minutes. I wouldn't expect a 10-15 shooting performance again, but he does have other paths to exceed value. 

Averaging a league-best 32.4 points per game and putting together another MVP-caliber season. Good matchup against Charlotte. 

Aging like a fine wine. Just shy of his 40th birthday and still playing at an elite level. Denver is playing faster this season and is just average on defense. 

JJJ has a usage rate over 31% with Ja Morant off the floor this season. Couple that with his elite stocks production and you get a huge ceiling. 

Tobias Harris has seen a usage increase of nearly 5% with Cade Cunningham off the floor this season. He gets a difficult matchup but could see a nice uptick in production. 

Charlotte is running extremely thin on big bodies with Miles Bridges now joining their top two centers on the sidelines. Grant Williams should see mid-30s minutes in this contest. 

Salary saver with a path to mid-20s minutes. He will give you some peripheral stats even if the usage leaves a lot to be desired. 

It has been a horrendous season thus far for the former number three overall pick. The price has fallen to a level where he doesn't need to do a ton to exceed value. 

Playing like a man on a mission to win his 4th MVP award. Elite matchup against the Lakers 26th ranked defense. 

2nd in the NBA in scoring as he appears to have taken the lead role in the offense with LeBron playing as more of a distributor. 

Minutes could be in question after a three-game absence, but the ceiling is elite if he gets full run. GPP only due to playing time questions. 

Excellent ceiling in a plus matchup if Portland can keep up. Averaging an elite 1.51 DK FP/minute. Ayton doubtful on the other side. 

Elite game environment and a fair price tag for a consistent producer. 

Ayton out again. Foul trouble has been a concern for the rookie big man. Huge upside if he can keep his hands to himself.  

Assuming he draws the start again, Diabate is underpriced on DK for his role. He has posted an elite 25.2% rebound rate and has a path to 30+ minutes for the shorthanded Hornets. Tougher price on FD but still very much GPP viable.
