The brooms were out at the Fantasy Alarm Betting Bungalow, a perfect sweep of NBA predictions yesterday. Four of four wagers were successful including the double unit ladder wager on the Denver Nuggets spread.

Two units on -3.5, and a unit at +140 on a -6.5 teased spread. A crucial win from the Nuggets as they try to stay in the top four of the Western Conference, and a smashing portion of our NBA best bets.

The rebounding props of Josh Giddey and Anthony Davis were also successful. Giddey led the Chicago Bulls to a come from behind victory with a 16 rebound, triple double. Davis was unable to stop Luka Doncic’s magic in his return to Dallas, but did earn 11 rebounds to ensure a perfect betting day for Fantasy Alarm.

Those four wins earned 4.95 units yesterday, and the plan is to keep it rolling today.

Timberwolves vs. Grizzlies Prediction: Minnesota -2.0 (-110 on Bet365) *BET OF THE NIGHT

It will be an all-out battle on the Mississippi River, as the Memphis Grizzlies host the Minnesota Timberwolves at FedexForum. These two teams are in the thick of one of the most intense playoff seeding battles in the NBA’s history. There is no way the seeding will be determined until the last day of the regular season, but the winner of this match has a clear advantage.

Memphis is currently in sixth place, and 1.0 games ahead of the eighth place Timberwolves. Minnesota had a costly loss in their most recent match against the Milwaukee Bucks, and now are in catch up mode to get out of the play-in. They have been playing some of the best basketball in the Association and the expectation is for them to play four quarters, instead of three.

The Timberwolves have won six of their last ten games, compared to the Grizzlies winning just four of their last ten games. However Memphis has won three in a row, led by their rookie big man Zach Edey… but more on him later. Those wins have pulled them out of the play-in and they control their own fate to remain in the playoffs.

These two teams have a contrasting style, but they are close in their point differential. Memphis has a +4.9 and Minnesota has a +4.5. Memphis does it with offense and averages 121.7 points per game, while Minnesota does it with defense allowing just 109.4 points per game.

They have similar size at center, and similar players at point guard. The spread is tight but put a unit on Minnesota to rebound after a heart crushing loss. They should win this game by more than a field goal, and to those new to Bet365 make sure to take advantage of the offer at the end of this column.

Timberwolves vs. Grizzlies Prediction: Rudy Gobert & Zach Edey Each O11.5 Rebounds (+238 on DraftKings)

As tempting as it was to combine the first of our NBA best bets today, with the second of three NBA best bets today, the wise move is to split them up. This best bet is admittedly a risk, but one that has the data to back it up. First off Zach Edey is the biggest man on the court at 7’ 4”, and has surpassed any expectations set for his rookie season. Second, Rudy Gobert is used to being the biggest man on the court, and will still have a 7’ 9” wingspan over his opponents.

With how Minnesota plays defense, and the amount of field goals Memphis attempts, there should be ample rebounding opportunities. Both have been rebounding machines lately, and Edey is entering the grey area of no longer being a rookie, and not quite a veteran. Meanwhile Gobert is extending his dominant run as one of the best centers in the Association.

Over his last four games Edey has recorded rebound totals of; 19, 21, 13, and 16. The trick to those numbers is Edey played 28 or more minutes. Of his last ten matches every match he plays more than 25 minutes, he records double digit rebounds. The expectation is for him to play well over his average of 21.2 minutes, and earn 12 or more rebounds.

Gobert is balancing the pressure of being a 10+ year sport veteran, raising his first child (who will be one year old in less than a month), and being the second best player on a team with high expectations. He’s doing a great job, but has missed games due to injury/personal leave. However, in his last ten games he has played 30 or more minutes in all but one game.

During that ten game stretch Gobert has been a force on the glass. He has nine or more rebounds in every game with thirty or more minutes, and excluding his last match against the Bucks his rebound totals are; 19, 18, 12, 25, 13, 16 and 11. A run that would make any coach happy, and one we expect to continue.

These two big men should control the defensive paint for their teams, and each earn over 12 rebounds. It’s a big risk, big reward wager at +238 but put a unit on it at DraftKings. To those that do not have DraftKings make sure to take advantage of Fantasy Alarm’s offer for new customers.

Best NBA Prop Bets & Other Picks Today, 4/10

There is another match between playoff bound teams in the Eastern Conference.

As it happens the last of our NBA best bets today comes from that match.

Knicks vs. Pistons Prediction: Jalen Duren O10.5 Rebounds (-108 on FanDuel)

The Detroit Pistons host the New York Knicks at Little Caesars Arena in a potential first round match. The Pistons have not been playing their best basketball with two losses in a row, and losses in five of their last ten matches. Despite that they are still safely in the playoffs, and will get a chance to get a look at their potential opponent.

The Knicks are focusing on entering the playoffs healthy in order to make a potential deep run. Josh Hart, OG Anunoby, and Mitchell Robinson are all out for today’s match. That is several rebounds and strong players that won’t be attacking the rim. That puts a great deal of pressure on Karl-Anthony Towns, who could be rested after the first half.

That is why Jalen Duren is considered the best bet from this match. Just two days ago Fantasy Alarm suggested taking his under on the rebounds, but today the suggestion is back on the over. Despite playing just 20 minutes in his most recent match, he recorded nine rebounds. He is averaging 10.4 rebounds this season, and should have little difficulty earning his average against back up forwards.

Duren’’s rebounding totals over his last few games have been; 18, 13, 11, 13, 4, 12, 9, 11. Six of those eight matches Duren covered the proposition put before him today. Trust him to cover once again against the New York Knicks. Put a unit on it at FanDuel right now, and new customers make sure to take advantage of Fantasy Alarm’s promotional offer.
