Meatloaf is back on the NBA best bets menu, and with a second serving thanks to Wendell Carter The double-unit hammer on his rebounds was successful, and we could have teased it up as he went five over his projected rebounding line. Never a doubt about it here at the Fantasy Alarm Betting Bungalow.

The Denver Nuggets and Milwaukee Bucks played a great game, and the Bucks pulled off the upset, ruining the spread portion of our NBA predictions. However another great rebounding prediction cashed in at even odds. Mark Williams went five over his rebounding line as well, as he decimated the Dallas Mavericks front court.

The double-unit hammer ensured a +2.35 unit gain, and in doing so brought our season total over +30.00 units. We all know, ‘Two Out of Three Ain’t Bad’, and this time it helped to achieve another 10-unit goal. Remember it is advised to withdraw 10 units at every goal mark, as the purpose of NBA best bets is MAKING MONEY from the sportsbooks.

NBA Picks, Predictions & Best Bets Today, 2/28

It is Friday, February 28, and that means the last day of the month, as well as pay day for several people. It is also a loaded NBA slate of games, as the Association has 10 matches. There are some high-profile games between playoff bound teams as well.

Whether you’re eyeing the spread, total points, or player props, we’ve got you covered with insights based on current team form, stats, and trends. Let’s get into the action and our NBA best bets today!

Raptors vs. Bulls Prediction: Barnes O7.5 Rebounds & 20+ Points (+200 SGP on Bet365) *BET OF THE NIGHT

Scottie Barnes has not been mentioned in our NBA picks in a few weeks. The Toronto Raptors are still not playing well but have a favorable matchup against the Chicago Bulls at the United Center. The Bulls are currently in tenth place of the Eastern Conference, and in the play-in. While the Raptors are thirteenth place and only have 18 wins on the season. Both teams are playing for a high lottery in this summer’s NBA Draft, but are playing for pride.

Barnes has been a consistent player but has not been the All-Star that he was last season. He was injured earlier this season, and there could have been lingering pain or discomfort that he played through. He also did not play the second of back-to-back games against the Indiana Pacers, and he will be well rested for this match.

His rebounding line has been unchanged although it was tempting to tease it up. The Bulls starting center, Nikola Vucevic, is once again out and rebounding will be tough for Chicago. Raptors starting center Jakob Poeltl is coming back from an injury and could have his minutes restricted, which allows Barnes more rebounding opportunities. Barnes could easily earn 10 or more rebounds, but when looking at the odds it was a better decision to add his points.

Barnes point line is at 20.5 and the hook has been removed for an alternate line of 20+ points. Barnes scores right around 20 points most games, sometimes below and sometimes above. The Bulls are one of the worst defenses in the Association allowing 120.4 points per game to opposing teams. Without Vucevic Barnes will have ample opportunity to make high percentage field goals near the rim.

Put a unit on the two-fold Same Game Parlay, and cheer for Scottie Barnes to have a great game.

Cavaliers vs. Celtics Prediction: Boston -2.5 (-108 on DraftKings)

The Boston Celtics have a very predictable outcome in games in which they rest several starters, and games following a loss. This season the Celtics are 15-1 in games after a loss, by far the best in the Association. Not only that, they are 13-3 against the spread in games after a loss, with a +/- differential of +10.1. Those are outstanding numbers and put simply the Celtics do what championship teams do after a loss. They respond well.

Although the New York Knicks play the Memphis Grizzlies, The Los Angeles Lakers are playing the Los Angeles Clippers, and the Denver Nuggets play the Detroit Pistons (games featuring playoff team versus playoff team) the Cleveland Cavaliers versus Boston Celtics is the match of the day. You can watch it on ESPN, and tip off is at 7:00 PM ET. They are the best two teams of the Eastern Conference and it is a possible preview of the Eastern Conference Finals.

The numbers in games after a loss are a great base for this bet, but Boston could have been peeking down the schedule when they rested players against the Pistons. The Celtics are 6.5 games behind the Cavaliers for first, and catching them is not a realistic expectation. It is achievable but barring an injury the Cavaliers should keep steamrolling their opponents.

In fact, the Cavaliers have only lost one match in their last thirteen games. It just so happens that loss was against the Celtics on February fourth, 112-105. That was at Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse, this is at the TD Garden in front of the Celtics faithful. Put a unit on the Celtics to cover the spread.

Best NBA Prop Bets & Other Picks Today, 2/28

There are several player proposition options with 10 games to choose from.

There is an Eastern Conference showdown between teams caught in a rankings battle. The Miami Heat host the Indiana Pacers in what should be a close match, perfect for our NBA best bets today.

Pacers vs. Heat Prediction: Andrew Wiggins O19.5 Points (-120 on Bet365)

Andrew Wiggins never received the credit he deserved for the Golden State Warriors most recent championship. He was the second best player on their team, and they would have not won a championship without him. However most of the credit went to Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green.

Wiggins is now with the Miami Heat, and he has been asked to play often, and score often as he replaces Jimmy Butler’s production. He has played 29 or more minutes in every game with the Heat and attempted twelve or more field goals in all but one match. He has a large role on his new team, but it is not anything larger than what he was asked to do with Golden State.

Tyler Herro is an All-Star, three point contest champion, and draws most of the defense's attention. Bam Adebayo is a powerful center and that allows Wiggins to play as a true wing. People forget he is a former first overall pick and his offense is an underrated skill set. Wiggins has scored 20 or more points in three of his last four matches, and the Heat will have to score to keep up with the Pacers.

The Pacers allow 115.2 points per game which is five more than the Heat average. There should be a boost in points for Miami on their home court, and Wiggins has a great opportunity to score 20 or more points. The minutes, field goal attempts, and matchup all indicate Wiggins will cover this point proposition. Put a unit for him to do that at Bet365 and take advantage of the promotional code below.
