They can each move up or down in the rankings depending on how the rest of their season’s success.

These two played each other earlier this month and the Timberwolves won that match 127-114. Anthony Edwards also recorded seven rebounds in that game. In fact he has seven or more rebounds in four of his last five matches. He has six or more in his previous seven matches and the data indicates he could earn seven or more tonight.

Houston allows 52.3 rebounds per game which is near the league median, and although Edwards’ three-point attempts has been the focal point of discussion, his rebounding has been reliable. He is currently tied with his career best average, and if he keeps up this pace will have a new career best.

This is a marque match on ESPN, and Edwards seems to play better while under the national spotlight. He didn’t log one minute of playtime in the All-Star match, and he should be well rested. Trust him to be active on the boards and cover this plus odd proposition.

Pistons vs. Spurs Prediction: Detroit -5.5 (+100 on Bet365) 

The San Antonio Spurs successfully cashed a plus odd money line for this article yesterday. Today we bet against them and take the spread in the process. The Spurs are an improving team, but the Detroit Pistons are a much better team than the Phoenix Suns, as crazy as that might sound.

Monty Williams was the head coach of the Suns, took them to the NBA finals and was fired shortly after. Now he is reviving the pride of one of the NBA’s legendary franchises and lifting the hopes of a passionate fan base.

The Spurs play their second match in their neighboring city, Austin. However it is also their second game in as many nights and they are without Victor Wembanyama. It is a team with older veterans in their starting lineup and they could be tired or rested tonight.
