NBA Best Bets Today, 11/2: Picks, Predictions & Player Props - Saturday
It was another profitable day for Fantasy Alarm, as two out of three best were successful. That means we earned our first Meatloaf of the year, because ‘Two out of three ain’t bad’.
The Celtics and Hornets barely cleared the point total, on a free throw with less than a minute left. A win by one point, smart computers. Anthony Davis came in with ease under his rebounding proposition, even though the game against the Raptors was closer than anticipated. Nikola Vucevic made 3 threes, but earned 11 rebounds, 0.5 over the set line of 10.5. Still the day brought in +1.39 units and we have won five of our last six bets.
NBA Picks, Predictions & Best Bets Today, 11/2
There are 10 games today, and several teams playing back-to-back games. Due to this, gametime information arrives later than normal. However there are a few angles to consider in today’s slate, including the Bet of the Day.
Cleveland Cavaliers at Milwaukee Bucks 8:00 PM ET: CLE Moneyline (+100 on BET MGM)
Do not overthink the betting situation, much easier said than done sometimes. In this case, the undefeated team is rolling, even if the predictions, futures, and media does not want to accept it. The Cleveland Cavaliers are rolling right now, and are the best team in the Association.
The Milwauikee Bucks are baffling, and appear just as dysfunctional as they did last season. They are on their home court and do have Giannis Antetokounmpo, but something is off rhythm in the organization.
They allow the sixth most points in the Association with 119.6 points per game, and the Cavaliers allow the fifth fewest with 107.7 points per game. These two teams are familiar with each other but Cleveland has arguably the best front court in the league, while Donovan Mitchell and Darius Garland are playing some of their best basketball of their career.
Do not overthink this match, put a unit on the undefeated team at plus odds… Sometimes it really is that simple.
Boston Celtics at Charlotte Hornets, 6:00 PM ET: Total Under 231.5 (-112 Draftkings)
It’s so nice, I want to do the same thing twice… but with a twist. Yesterday we were on the over of this exact same matchup at the same exact same projected point total, but today we are on the under. Simply for the reason of it being back-to-back games and their starters were in up to the last minutes of yesterday’s game. All NBA players are in great shape, but not all are in their peak shape.
The fact that the line did not change could be a mistake that we look to capitalize on. Al Horford sat out the first game so he could play today, so he could impact the game, but with rebounds and slowing the pace down.
Grant Williams performed what was once referred to as a crack back block to Jayson Tatum. This major issue is that it was considered a dirty move in football and this took place on a basketball court. Tatum popped up immediately but he will be feeling that hit today.
Also the total was cleared by one point on a free throw last night. As bettors that follow the law of average, tonight has a great opportunity to be below 231.5 points. Bet on the under in the second of back-to-back games.
Best NBA Prop Bets & Other Picks Today, 11/2
Plus odd props are always fun angles, as countless simulations indicate it is an unlikely possibility to be successful. Yet there are successful plus odd props everyday, and today’s plus odd props is on Mr. No Face himself.
Minnesota Timberwolves at San Antonio Spurs 8:00 PM ET: Victor Wembanyama Over 3.5 Blocks (+125 on Bet365)
The Minnesota Timberwolves were in a thrilling game yesterday against the Denver Nuggets. A 10 point come from behind victory in the last minutes of the game, in large part thanks to Anthony Edwards.
That had to be both thrilling and exhausting for the Timberwolves who had to fly to the other side of the country to play a game today against the rested San Antonio Spurs. Victor Wembanyama is coming off of his best game of the year too
He earned the rare 5 steals, 5 blocks against the Utah Jazz on Halloween, and the third of this calendar year. Oddly enough he earned his other two in back-to-back games… could he do it again? It is difficult to achieve, but luckily we only need him to earn four blocks for this bet to be successful.
The Timberwolves are playing in their first back-to-back games of the season, and Wembanyama will be playing against fellow French olympic teammate, Rudy Gobert. There could be extra motivation between two of the best centers in the world. Put a unit on the plus odd props, and hope Wembanyama swats shots from tired legs all night.
