Vladimir Guerrero MLB Underdog Fantasy Pick: Higher Than 1.5 Total Bases
I love Vladimir Guerrero against everyone, but especially against left-handed pitchers. Because of that, he’s one of my favorite Underdog MLB Picks of the day. Guerrero Jr. is hitting .341 against lefties and things could actually be even better than that due to some bad batted ball luck. Guerrero has a .250 ISO and a .363 xISO with a .432 wOBA and a .502 xwOBA against lefties. JP Sears starts for the Athletics today and he, well, hasn’t been great. Righties have posted a .251 ISO and .355 wOBA against him this year.
Pick: Higher Than 1.5 Total Bases
Ryan Weathers MLB Underdog Fantasy Pick: Higher Than 4.5 Strikeouts
Things are truly on the up and up for Ryan Weathers as this has been quite the start to his 2025 campaign. His fastball velocity is sitting at a career-high 97.5 MPH, up from 95.9 last season. He’s also striking people out at a 24.6% clip and has a solid 11.2% SwStr as well. He faces a Giants offense that has been criminally bad against southpaws this year ranking 21st in wOBA and OPS while striking out 25.4% of the time. Weathers got built up to 94 pitches last time out, so there are seemingly no more restrictions for him.
Pick: Higher Than 4.5 Strikeouts

Aaron Judge led the American League in balloting for the 2025 MLB All-Star Game.
Judge earned an automatic starting berth as the league-leader in phase one balloting for the Midsummer Classic, which will be played on July 15 at Truist Park in Atlanta. The 33-year-old Yankees icon, who has launched 33 homers and piled up 67 RBI through 85 games this season, is headed to his seventh All-Star Game in a couple weeks. Here’s the entire AL starting lineup: Cal Raleigh (C), Vladimir Guerrero Jr. (1B), Gleyber Torres (2B), Jacob Wilson (SS), José RamÃrez (3B), Judge (OF), Riley Greene (OF), Javier Báez (OF) and Ryan O’Hearn (DH). The complete All-Star rosters, including pitchers and reserves will be announced this weekend.
Kutter Crawford underwent season-ending right wrist surgery on Wednesday.
The procedure involved reconstruction of the stabilizing sheath of the extensor carpi ulnaris in his right wrist. There isn’t an official return timeline from the Red Sox at the moment, but Crawford has plenty of time to be ready for next spring. He wound up missing the entire 2025 campaign due to knee and wrist issues.
Giants recalled RHP Mason Black from Triple-A Sacramento.
Black gets the call to join San Francisco’s relief mix ahead of Tuesday’s game against the Diamondbacks with rookie Carson Seymour returning to the minors. The 25-year-old posted a bloated 6.44 ERA and 31/15 K/BB ratio over 36 1/3 innings (nine appearances, eight starts) last year in his first taste of the big leagues. He figures to operate in long relief.
Giants optioned RHP Carson Seymour to Triple-A Sacramento.
Seymour allowed four runs — three earned — on seven hits, including three homers, over four innings of work in a pair of relief appearances for San Francisco after being called up last Friday for the first time in his career.
Cal Raleigh is on the bench for Wednesday’s game against the Royals.
Raleigh takes a seat for just the third time this season as Seattle attempts to manage his workload amid an extended stretch without any off days built into the schedule. It’ll be Mitch Garver handling the catching duties with Jorge Polanco at DH on Wednesday night. The 28-year-old slugging backstop has put together arguably the greatest first-half performance by a catcher in fantasy baseball history with a major league-leading 33 home runs, 71 RBI and nine stolen bases through 84 games. He’s definitely earned a break.
Wyatt Langford (oblique) will begin a minor league rehab assignment on Thursday with Triple-A Round Rock.
Rangers president of baseball operations Chris Young told reporters Langford is expected to be activated for Saturday’s game against the Padres. The 23-year-old outfielder will get in at least a handful of minor league contests after making it through Wednesday’s live batting practice session without any issues.
