Zack Wheeler MLB Underdog Fantasy Pick: More Than 39.5 Fantasy Points

If not for Chris Sale there is a good chance that Wheeler would have been the National League Cy Young Award winner this season as the Phillies “Ace” went 16-4 with a 2.57 ERA while striking out 224 over 200 innings of work.

Despite playing in the same division, Wheeler only faced the Mets one time this season and he dominated, allowing just two runs over seven innings while striking out eight.

From a fantasy point perspective, we get points for wins, quality starts, innings completed and strikeouts while only losing points for earned runs allowed and I'm not expecting too many of those here today from Wheeler.

 

 

 

Juan Soto MLB Underdog Fantasy Pick: More Than 7.5 Fantasy Points

The Yankees kick off the divisional round series at home against Michael Wacha and the Royals on Saturday.

Wacha had a strong year for the Royals, as their strong pitching staff helped lead them to the playoffs and got them into the second round but that trend may end here today and we are looking at Juan Soto's fantasy point projection which is set at 7.5.

We saw Soto put up double-digit fantasy points over the final few games of the season and of course it only takes one swing of the bat for someone like Soto to go over this but given the upside of this Yankees offense, especially at home, I'm expecting a strong Game 1 performance out of Soto here today.
