Ober has finished with at least eight strikeouts in four straight starts as he continues to draw favorable matchups while on the mound. Today, his strikeout line is set at 6.0 and with Ober sitting with a 26.5% strikeout rate and a K/9 of 9.57 this year, that line seems awfully low given his opponent in the Chicago White Sox.

Kenta Maeda Sleeper MLB Pick: More Than 2.5 Earned Runs

We have a soft line here on Maeda as he finds himself in a really tough matchup against the Cleveland Guardians and because of it, the payout multiplier is just 1.57x. On the season, the Tigers veteran right-hander has really struggled, posting a 6.71 ERA and a 1.52 WHIP over 15 starts.

Today, we need the Guardians to score three runs off Maeda, which shouldn’t be all that difficult for a man with an ERA approaching 7.00. In Maeda’s lone start this season against the Guardians, he allowed seven runs on five hits over two innings.

Sale has been a strikeout machine this season, owning a 32.7% strikeout rate and a K/9 of 11.47. We need at least eight strikeouts tonight, which is something he has done in nine of his last 11 starts.
