We have a “demon” projection here of 15.5 outs for Bello with a boosted payout as he takes a home start against the New York Yankees. Bello has certainly had his struggles this season, but he generally has a long leash even when he gives up earned runs.

That has been on display lately as well with Bello finishing with more than 15.5 outs in each of his last four starts despite being less than perfect. The Yankees offense outside of Aaron Judge and Juan Soto has certainly had their struggles of late and while Bello did not fare well against New York earlier this season, he does have good career success against them.

I’m always at least a little worried about taking a pitcher's fantasy score for a pitcher that doesn’t get a lot of strikeouts, but here, Thorpe has a matchup against the Seattle Mariners who strikeout more than any team in baseball against right-handed pitching. So, the strikeout ceiling is a bit higher.

Thorpe has really pitched some good baseball of late for the White Sox as well, seeing at least six innings in each of his last five starts which bodes well for the quality start bonus points we are looking for here today given that the win bonus points may be tougher to come by.
