World No. 75 Hudson Swafford hung up a 5-under 34-32=66 in R3 of the RBC Heritage to reach 9-under 204, up nine spots to T5, two adrift of leader Harold Varner III (63). 

Out of the penultimate threesome, past champ and World No. 166 Hudson Swafford erased 3-shot deficit with a day-tying-low 8-under-par 33-31=64 in R4 of The American Express, up four spots on the day and good for a 2-shot win over Tom Hoge (68).

Playing the Stadium Course and beginning off 10 tee, past champ and World No. 166 Hudson Swafford tossed up a 6-under-par 31-35=66 in R3 of The American Express to reach 15-under 201, up 19 spots on the live leaderboard to T5.

Making his QBE Shootout debut this week, Swafford will look to lean on his partner and fellow former Georgia Bulldog, Brian Harman, who won this event alongside Patton Kizzire in 2018.
