Lee Westwood is among the players denied by the PGA Tour for a conflicting event release to play in the Saudi-funded LIV Golf Invitational event near London next month.

Having had numerous close calls at Augusta National, Lee Westwood arrives with poor form this time around. However, as we have seen time and time again, Augusta has a way of reviving wily veterans in the year’s first major championship. 

Lee Westwood will make his 16th start at the Players Championship this week, where he’s made 11 cuts with six top 10s including a runner-up finish in 2021.

World No. 45 Lee Westwood will make his 15th start at the Arnold Palmer Invitational, where he’s made 11 cuts with a best finish of second in 2021.
