David Desharnais

Desharnais is set to join Canadian coach Bob Hartley with Avangard Omsk for the 2018-19 campaign, Jean-Francois Chaumont of Le Journal de Montreal reports.

Desharnais (wrist) is projected to be a healthy scratch when the Rangers play host to the Devils on Tuesday, NHL.com reports.

Desharnais won't play Saturday against the Hurricanes since he's feeling the effects of a shot that hit his wrist during Friday's action against the Lightning.

Desharnais (kidney stones) came out during warmups for Monday's game against Carolina, Dan Rosen of NHL.com reports, and will draw into the lineup per Colin Stephenson of Newsday.
