Jets waived QB Chris Streveler.

The Athletic's Zack Rosenblatt believes QB Chris Streveler won't be active in Week 17 against the Seahawks. 

Jets head coach Robert Saleh said the Jets used QB Christ Streveler on Thursday night against the Jaguars to "spark" the ground game. 

Chris Streveler completed 10-of-15 passes for 90 yards in the Jets' 19-3, Week 16 loss to the Jaguars, adding nine carries for 54 additional yards.
