2024 Player Outlook

Slayton might not be the most exciting player but he proved to be the most reliable one for the Giants in 2023. He played all 17 games an led the team in targets, yards, and receiving touchdowns. The only problem is those numbers were 79 targets for 770 yards and 4 touchdowns. Over the last three years the Giants have now selected Malik Nabers in the first round, Wan'Dale Robinson in the second round, and Jalin Hyatt in the third round so you would think a fifth round journeyman like Slayton would be pushed out of the Giants rotation by now. But we have not seen enough of them to conclude whether they are hits or misses yet so the reliable Slayton could hold onto a starting spot in this offense. With his profile and the lackluster quarterback play, that's still not a super exciting proposition.
