Leandro Barbosa will follow Mike Brown to Sacramento and join his staff as an assistant coach, per The Athletic's Shams Charania.

Barbosa has signed a contract with Sesi Franca Basketball of Brazil.

Barbosa was waived by the Suns on Monday, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.com reports.

Barbosa (hamstring) has been ruled out of Sunday's game against the Mavericks, Craig Grialou of the Arizona Republic reports.
