2024 Player Outlook
2023 Recap: Bradish enjoyed a breakout season, making significant improvements in just about every pitching category. His 2.83 ERA was over two runs better than his 2022 ERA and he walked over one less batter per nine innings compared to 2022, and that helped lower his WHIP from 1.402 in 2022 to 1.043 last season. His slider was virtually unhittable, but his four-seam fastball was not (.366 BAA) so cutting his usage of it in half last season compared to 2022 was a good move.
2024 Outlook: His xERA (3.82) suggests we can see some regression in that category but with his change in approach (limiting the use of his fastball) and his ability to get groundball outs don’t be surprised if he doesn’t have a better overall season than Corbin Burnes.
