2024 Player Outlook
2023 Recap: Lowe navigated some peaks and valleys last season and while his overall stats (.292 BA, 20 HR, 32 stolen bases) were very good, they could have been much better if not for a mid-season swoon and his weakness against left-handed pitching. As the season progressed, he lowered his K rate and started hitting the ball the opposite way a little more and finished the season with a .340 batting average and .917 OPS in his final 44 games.
2024 Outlook: The Rays may decide to sit Lowe against tough lefty pitching this season which would limit his playing time. Based on his 2023 xBA and we’ll likely see some batting average regression, but the power and speed are real and he’s a relatively safe pick.
