A back injury has Rangers third baseman Kevin Kouzmanoff leaning toward retirement

Kevin Kouzmanoff has elected free agency.

Rangers also reinstate Pedro Figueroa and Kevin Kouzmanoff from the disabled list and assign them to Triple-A Round Rock.

Kevin Kouzmanoff underwent a second back operation and is out for the season.
