Phillies officially recalled Jake Thompson from Triple-A Lehigh Valley.

Phillies are expected to call up prospect Jake Thompson to start on Saturday in place of the recently injured Aaron Nola.

Carlos Rodon threw six innings against the Rangers on Thursday night, allowing one earned run on five hits with 10 strikeouts and three walks.

Carlos Rodon has been skipped for his start Monday.
