WNBA DFS Playbook July 28: Top DraftKings & FanDuel WNBA DFS Picks
I try not to overreact to injuries for DFS but when a fringe MVP candidate and the best passer in WNBA history are both out, it is going to make waves in the WNBA DFS Slate. That is certainly the case Friday. With all three games tipping off at 8:00 p.m. ET it may be challenging to watch all of the action, but setting our WNBA DFS lineups will be much easier. We should get all of the starting lineups, and any last-minute injury news, at roughly the same time. Instead of following the news all evening, we can shift our attention to our World Cup DFS lineups after tip-off. Let's now take a look at top WNBA DFS picks on DraftKings and FanDuel for Friday, July 28th.

| I'm surprised it has taken Mitchell this long to return to the starting lineup, and I think they'll need her offense more with Napheesa Collier out. This is a bit of a dart throw, though she'll be in all of my lineups if she starts. | ||||||

| With three starters out, Washington's only chance to tread water is for Allen to bump her minutes and production to her 2020-2021 levels. She played a season-high 23 minutes Wednesday and finished with 27.25 fantasy points. She looks like a nice mid-priced forward, even if her ceiling is capped by her limited minutes. | ||||||

| I don't know how much Napheesa Collier's injury will help Dorka Juhasz, but it probably won't hurt. Juhasz is averaging 27.3 minutes and 28.1 fantasy points in her last four games, and she certainly looks like a better value than Jessica Shepard. | ||||||

| Washington's overall numbers against forwards aren't bad but they have struggled at times with size inside. McCowan had 33.3 fantasy points in 23.2 minutes in her only game against Washington this season, and she scored 44.75 fantasy points in 35 minutes against Connecticut on Thursday. I don't really trust any of the cheaper forwards, so I'll pay a little bit more for McCowan. | ||||||

| Like Sabrina Ionescu, Breanna Stewart should be quite safe with Courtney Vandersloot out. You can pivot to one of the Dallas forwards if you need to but I'm going to try to spend up for Stewart. | ||||||

| Russell played 22 minutes off the bench Tuesday, her highest total in a month. That didn't translate into fantasy points, and she has a lot of competition for minutes, but she is dirt cheap on DraftKings. Russell is a reasonable punt play on both sites, especially with Chicago allowing the second-most fantasy points to forwards. | ||||||
