UFC Fight Night Best Bet - Cory Sandhagen vs. Umar Nurmagomedov: Sandhagen ML +260

While Umar has been dominant up to this point, he doesn’t have any wins over anyone of note in the UFC, so I’m taking a chance on the veteran here. Sandhagen’s losses in the UFC have been 48-47 to Yan, a split decision loss to T.J. Dillashaw (which I thought he won), and he was subbed by Aljo. So, it is only to former champions. If he keeps this fight standing, he should be able to catch Umar with something.

UFC Fight Night Prediction - Mackenzie Dern vs. Loopy Godinez: Dern ML -115

Both of these girls have struggled when they fight against the top 5 of the division, but Godinez has also struggled against anyone else within the top 15. Dern should be able to dominate clinches, and at distance, I think this fight is close to a wash.

 

 

 

UFC Fight Night Pick - Sharaputdin Magomedov vs. Michal Oleksiejczuk: Magomedov By KO/TKO Or DQ -115

He is the better striker, and he has better cardio, the only thing he struggles with is his wrestling, but Mikey O isn’t a great wrestler. So, I don’t expect the fight to take place on the ground. He probably finds the KO in R2/3.

UFC Fight Night Prediction - Long Shot Bet: Elves Brener R3 +1600

He needs to survive the early storm, but Brener is a dog, and he is going to keep coming forward. If this fight gets out of the first round, it should be a toss-up and I expect Brener to really put it on Alvarez late.
